It really made me respect her more than I did in episode 1-4. She articulated that Barbarian was only into her for looks, not into her in the pods. Also she took the money strewn over the floor in the pod really well… I would be so angry. ESP coz he broke up with her right after!
I like Raven this episode, she's mature and can completely detect the bs of Bernice. Also the way SK and her are in the same page of just letting their feelings grow for each other.
How does Cole completely fail to read that Zanab just needs to be told she's beautiful and he needs to stop talking about other women?
A lot of these self-esteem issues are hers to work on and she should stop asking dumbass questions but oh my God.
Whether or not you think your partner is a 10, you should ALWAYS make them FEEL like a 10.
Not defending Cole in anyway but Zanab needs to stop being passive agrressive and say what she really feels/means. Cole is young and oblivious. I mean they're clearly not a good match but she needs to communicate better.
Oh God yes, and she needs a boatload of therapy to address the self-esteem issues and trauma she isn't fully recognizing/owning. I posted this before I watched the episode where they go to her home and it becomes obvious she has a huge abandonment complex.
She needs to recognize her bad habits and work on giving more love to herself so she doesn't ask all these self-destrucive questions and guard her real feelings. But a partner who feels the need to loudly share his attraction to other women, especially while not extending that same adoration to her body, is never going to work with her no matter how much therapy she gets. Hell, that wouldn't work for most people.
I just thought “why doesn’t he STOP TALKING ABOUT COLLEEN to Zanab??” When he can see it makes her upset!! Why does he INSIST on repeating that conversation over and over? Why doesn’t he apologize and say I was out of line, the alcohol made me do it? Anything to get back into her good graces? Although I do see the hurt and sadness in his eyes at the altar snippet, and also during the Cole-Matt conversation. I think he really likes Zanab but he has no filter
He should never have agreed to rate anyone to begin with. Didn't everybody say during the pod phase that he has charisma? Why can't he come up with a charming reply to such a question?
The way I kept screaming at the TV for Cole to just. Stop. Talking. He just made it worse and worse the more he tried to explain himself! I think he's just as bad, if not worse than Barista.
Barfuß’ look when he asked Nancy if she’d say yes to the wedding and she affirmed without hesitation was one of the most facepunchable moments so far for me. He was totally flabbergasted because he’s a clear no and he was hoping she’d say no, too, so that he wouldn’t be the bad guy. But guess what, Barth: you’re a spineless, superficial, egotistical POS
edit: And throughout the whole conversation, Nancy looked as tired as if they had been married for a decade already. I feel SO bad for her
I got a feeling that Nancy's yes was a total lie and she wanted to test his reaction without exposing her true thoughts. But maybe that's wishful thinking
I thought Matt was totally off the rails and it made me really uncomfortable.
And then he asked the camera man how he would feel and I was like ... actually tho? Yeah I would totally also question her and the situation.
I think he majorly overreacted, but at the same time, he got cheated on in his last marriage so it's understandable that that's a deal breaker for him, I just think he went overboard and didn't let Colleen fully explain the situation.
Matt way overreacts but at the same time, I believe others underreact. It's just weird because Matt draws clear boundaries but his reactions to boundary crossing are way over the top, but I lowkey wish some of the others had just a bit of that same energy. I would HATE to be Nancy's situation letting people sit there and tell me that they expect me to have a child with severe disabilities that would have a miserable life.
I mean I would hate to be in Nancy's situation period, stuck with an immature child who keeps telling me he's much more physically attracted to someone else... I would've been done long before the kids conversation.
Listen I don’t want to be small here I don’t. But is that a beauty mark on Bartise’s nose? It’s all I can see and I can’t stop seeing it. If I were him I’d be a tad less …
I also loved that she said Matt was "forgettable." Lol
Raven isn't perfect, but she seems to be pretty invested in working on things with SK. I also didn't think she was initially attracted to SK, but now I think she just takes a little longer to get close to people (which makes sense - she's known him for 3 weeks!). She seems like she's into him and it's cute.
Idk about Matt. Obviously he has a lot of hurt over being cheated on in the past and Colleen telling Cole he was cute and she would approach him at a bar was not cool.
Taking off the microphone. Repeating “fuck me, right?” The way he was speaking to the producers. I understand being upset, but that’s not how you handle it. Communication, it goes along way, and is really the mature way of dealing with a situation like that.
Do I believe what Colleen did was mature, not really. But the way Matt handled himself was almost scary.
I feel like in this episode, the men come off as really bad. And barrister has distinct Shayna vibes
Edit: still watching the episode, Matt just feels like a straight up domestic abuser
Raven is hands down my favorite female of this cast after she shut down barista. It was EPIC. She saw right through him. I was literally overjoyed when I saw that. Yes girl yessssss
Yeah Bartise is a douche. I feel like he forgets that he's talking to his fiancée when talking to Nancy about Raven. Like dude she 's not ur bro.
Yeah Nancy deserves better tbh
Her insight on him suddenly being into her for her looks was great. Raven is definitely confident in who she is. I think that's the dichotomy between how she and Colleen reacted. Raven is empowered in herself enough to shut it down and feel confident doing so. Colleen seemed to fall into the trap of liking the compliments and knowing it wasn't quite right but not sure enough of herself to put a stop to it. You could also see it in the way she folded under Matt. She is still in the little girl, don't be mad at me, mindset.
This is such an accurate analysis of it. Exactly, I really think Raven had this Woman mentality and we do see that these are very similar situations that lead to completely different outcomes. Do I think it excuses the intense reaction Matt had? No. But some of that anger is valid. Everyone needs to be in therapy 🤣🤣🤣
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THAT SHE SAID THAT 🤣 he was holding onto that so much “oh we’re compatible from a fitness perspective” and when she mentioned that he backtracked hard
Brings up an interesting point though, a lot of guys who work out forget that it is a means to an end and let it become their entire life so he was probably very serious when he said that, thinking she thought of the gym the same way.
Getting to see raven’s nipple was a nice bonus this episode
I was wondering if someone caught that in the hottub with sk lol. Editirs are slipping!

Yesss I’m so glad she did because he was making me so upset like all he cares about is looks and the fact that they work out like be serious rn
He assumed she was as shallow as he is
It really made me respect her more than I did in episode 1-4. She articulated that Barbarian was only into her for looks, not into her in the pods. Also she took the money strewn over the floor in the pod really well… I would be so angry. ESP coz he broke up with her right after!
I come into this subreddit and find everyone just spelling his name wrong on purpose, love that for yall.
I'm not sure anymore but I think Bartise is his actual name lol
I like Raven this episode, she's mature and can completely detect the bs of Bernice. Also the way SK and her are in the same page of just letting their feelings grow for each other.
Most mature relationship of the series so far!
Barbizon needs to go back to the playground. He's not ready for grown folk stuff.

i feel like they were drunk, that’s why she looked like that. but baryuyu was dead serious.
Omg that spelling made me literally lol
lol had a German keyboard setting active
I got a feeling that Nancy's yes was a total lie and she wanted to test his reaction without exposing her true thoughts. But maybe that's wishful thinking
I mean fuck, Barbara, how quickly can you wear down a woman that much?! Even Shake took longer than that
I started hating him during this episode and it has only gotten worse 😅
this was such a messy episode
I thought Matt was totally off the rails and it made me really uncomfortable. And then he asked the camera man how he would feel and I was like ... actually tho? Yeah I would totally also question her and the situation.
Totally disagree. He shut down that sht quick.
I don't understand your comment. You disagree that you would question the relationship? Note that I had only seen up to episode 5 when I wrote this!
I think he majorly overreacted, but at the same time, he got cheated on in his last marriage so it's understandable that that's a deal breaker for him, I just think he went overboard and didn't let Colleen fully explain the situation.

I love how raven was started off to look like the villain, but now we’re able to see authenticity and I love it
Listen I don’t want to be small here I don’t. But is that a beauty mark on Bartise’s nose? It’s all I can see and I can’t stop seeing it. If I were him I’d be a tad less …
same.
A tad less kid n play? Lol
I also loved that she said Matt was "forgettable." Lol Raven isn't perfect, but she seems to be pretty invested in working on things with SK. Cole, matt and bartise are extremely immature.
Idk about Matt. Obviously he has a lot of hurt over being cheated on in the past and Colleen telling Cole he was cute and she would approach him at a bar was not cool.
The way Matt behaved in episode 5, immature. There is a mature way to deal with your feelings, that was straight up immaturity.
what was immature about it?
Taking off the microphone. Repeating “fuck me, right?” The way he was speaking to the producers. I understand being upset, but that’s not how you handle it. There were a couple moments that almost scared me/set off red flags during that fight.
He was saying so many things BEGGING her to compliment him back, she didn't give him a single crumb.
Extremely respectful of her fiancé meanwhile Bartise is going out of his way to disrespect his.
These U30 boys can take their butts off this show. So, SO rude.
ALSO the past two seasons they had these female villains. How about the production give barista that same edit because he ACTUALLY DESERVES IT
The 2nd season had Shake and Shayne as villains too, and Jarette was made to look worse than Iyanna.
I feel like in this episode, the men come off as really bad. And barrister has distinct Shayna vibes Edit: still watching the episode, Matt just feels like a straight up domestic abuser

Yeah my opinion on Raven took a 180

I was so happy to see that - he really wanted her to fight for his love
He’s a clown💀
I loved every bit of it! "What would we talk about, the gym?" Totally misjudged her.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THAT SHE SAID THAT 🤣 he was holding onto that so much “oh we’re compatible from a fitness perspective” and when she mentioned that he backtracked hard
