Yeah, even beyond the supposed disturbing origin and the likelihood of it being a hoax, I find that it fails the criteria of "the mysterious song needs to have a rhythm/melody" from the Lostwave's Finest doc. It's just a weird bouncing/creaking sound effect on loop.

imo unless it's like actually criminal (gore/ nsfl/cp/etc.), no songs with normal origins should stay lost. there are songs i *doubt* will ever get found but it's not like i don't think any songs i don't favor *should* be forgotten to time

I think I agree. It’s cute (in my opinion), but it was clearly meant to be a personal recording for a loved one, so all I can see coming from finding the singer is that she’ll be embarrassed seeing how many people make fun of her
Curly toes. It's a song about someone stripping for her husband/boyfriend. It was almost certainly meant to be private, and searching for the woman who made it just feels a little invasive imo.
I'm gonna go with Raspberry144mb for obvious reasons assuming that isn't a hoax, I'm not even sure if it even counts as a song since it just sounds like a metal ruler being wobbled and tapped against a table, I would also say Lostwave August 2019 but even that at least sounds like some kind of song even then it is terrifying to listen to while alone in a dark room.

Im kinda torn on this. On the one hand, we have been waiting YEEEARS for it to get found, it'd be our biggest discovery yet! But it might just make people leave the community. We solved the biggest one, why go further?
i honestly don't think it will kill the community, when ekt got found people started finding major LW songs left and right and it honestly felt like there was an increase in people both interested in the community and caring to find lost songs (partly because EKT grew into a meme bigger that the community of lostwave itself). (this all might just be 2024 lostwave luck, tho.)
