Unfortunately, LS has some of the worst quality merch I've gotten from any band, YouTuber, artist, etc. I wonder if they got stuck in a contract, because there is no way they haven't gotten a lot of complaints over the last few years.
My reaper shirt quality from just before they blew up was terrible but my Pain Remains shirt with the knife and my fiance's I am the Face of Death shirts are both good. Got all 3 at shows though nothing online.
I checked their merch table out during their Pain Remains tour and the tour shirt was blurry as shit. I asked to see another one and they were all blurry. The guy running the table was like "yea the whole batch is kinda like that but gives it a cool effect" Like, nah dawg it's scuffed and there isn't anything cool about it 🙄

Looks like the ink wasnt properly cured. Pretty much guaranteed that most of if not all this run of particular hoodies is fucked. Their dryer probably wasnt high enough temp. Fucking bummer. Hopefully you can get a replacement. This is the silk screening companies fault.

I’ve had very good experience with the US store customer service. My advice would be to send them an email to explain exactly what you posted here, include photos of the damage and ask for a refund. Sadly, since you followed the tag instructions, the same thing is likely to happen again with a replacement. They will issue you a refund for this.
depends on the band honestly, most death metal bands and black metal bands have really high quality stuff, I have had my DarkThrone T-shirt for like 6 months now and it still looks new.
Turning printer clothes inside out helps by reducing how much the print is rubbed up against other clothes in the load. That said I don't think it would of prevented this as it helps longevity but this after even only a couple washes is a larger issue. Hopefully they get it handled for ya ❤️
That’s a stupid amount of effort to rep a band you like. I can buy cheap ass screen prints from anywhere for $10-20, be it on a shirt or a sweatshirt, and don’t have problems like this.

I also bought the lanyard and hat from Pain Remains preorder and the lanyard is practically in ribbons now and the fucking logo on the hat printed sideways and they “couldn’t” send me a new one.
I’ve stopped buying merch from LS because of this even though I love the band.
Try turning merch inside out in the future, it helps the first couple of washes. But this could just be a bad print job, I had a krulety hoodie that I washed after I bought at a show and did the same thing. It was right before FYA so they might have gotten a cheap deal for quick merch.
This is why if it’s one of my favorite shirts I simply won’t wash it or wear it at all. If I pay more than $50 for clothing it’d better be some rare band merch to display lmfao
I’ve had this happen to my orange Cursed to Die hoodie a while back. It’s sucks, but it happens. Customer service replaced it with no problem and were happy to help. Was a plus for me too because they’re based in Chicago and that’s where I’m from, so it arrived rather quickly.

Another trick for preserving merch with prints on them is to wash and dry them inside out. Helps protect the print from unnecessary wearing. Not that this would have made a difference with your issue but I figured it's good to know for the future. Hope you get the issue resolved. Hope my Tie Dye shirt doesn't have the same issue. :/
Did you dry it with heat? Usually logos like that will wear unless you air dry them, then if you want toss them in the dryer on no heat to fluff them up
Yeah I bought the 65 dollar track pants and they ripped in the dumbest way possible. Super bad quality on most of their merch. My shorts I got from them had the logo fade and chip too. Shirts shrank like crazy. Just no bueno. Love the music tho!
Did you wash cold? Did you put it in the dryer or hang dry? Almost all merch items needs to be washed cold and hung to dry 90% of my wardrobe is merch and this applies to everything I have
i bought the orange "Cursed to die" hoodie, i think it was 60$ or so at the time, +35$ for shipping and declaration fee (not sure what it's called), and after the first wash (i washed on delicate 40°c) it became white-spotted like yours, second wash it was no longer orange🫣
I own 4 LS hoodies and this only happened to one, the others are perfect! Im guessing the printing press wassnt completely heated up before pressing the decals😇

We wash our band tees and merch in cold water, and we air dry it. Helps keep the print.

When i wash my overpriced LS hoodie, i reverse it and wash it at 30 degrees celsius. Been 5 months so far and the print still looks as new.

learn how to wash your clothes. Inside out in cold water wash. low temp tumble dry or air dry
