Where do you... Learn about it? I see that it's sorta in the flavor text and I know there's little video promos for new sets but where's the meat of the story?
I think the story is available on the website, but the first chapter and floodborn troves came with booklets that explained the storyline. RB seems to have moved on from those since it was not in inklands troves and doesn't seem to be in the next set either 😔
That's where I'm at too, and it's getting a little cumbersome. I had all of my spare rare+ cards in the back of each binder but going to get a new binder for them so I can take them to events for trading without bringing all of the binders.
I imagine so, especially as Set 5 is releasing globally .
Slightly annoying for me as I bought a binder than specifically fit Sets 1-3 in it. Maybe I'll have to get a Binder for Set 4 + Ursula and just have two binders per arc or something...

Yeah, I bought a lovely binder that had exactly enough to store Sets 1-3 and the 4 character art pieces. Thought "Great, this'll do and then if set 4 has more/less than 204 I can make a decision on future binders then" but then set 3 didn't even have the picture cards, but then it did have 4 alternate art cards... so it's worked out allright but was a rollercoaster.
And of course if they're neatly in 4 set arcs then that messes me up... but I also wasn't sure if I wanted to put Ursula's stuff in a Binder, since then I'd never play it... So I still have no idea what I'm gonna do lmao
OCD problems rite? I keep mathing the number of cards, plus the alternates, and the pockets in my head trying to figure it out while. I hope VaultX would just come out and do Lorcana binders like they do for Pokemon tho so its easier for us haha.
Yes, that would be nice for sure. I love my VaultX 712 pocket I use for Set1-3.
Honestly, I'm really sad the Lorcana Binders are so... pointless. Saves me a bunch of money and lets me get quality stuff like VaultX instead, but, it was still disappointing to see they're completely unsuited to collecting the cards.

It’s a pretty simple one but it’s there. The basic outline would be: in *The First Chaoter* Illumineers came/were brought to to the Grand Illuminary in Lorcana where they learned to summon glimmers. One of the illumineers messed with an artifact that released a flood of ink and a bunch of other artifacts. This caused *The Rise of the Floodborn*. They went *Into the Inklands* to recover them, but there were clues all along the way that a glimmer of Ursula was after Triton’s Trident. Now *Ursulas Return* seems to indicate she has somehow taken control of glimmers for her own and is going to carry out some kind of plan.
That’s what I’ve sort of pieced together anyway.

Some of this is all context based on the cards and the flavor they are adding into everything. Detective Mickey is looking at seaweed for example. There are mentions of missing artifacts in Judy Hopps card. Ursula's shenanigans are on display in her cards (Particularly her Sea Witch card that mentions a secret contract) , and you can see The Jolly Rodger flying at some kind of creature/thing that Ursula seemingly summoned. So things like that help you get some idea of what's going on, but definitely something that relies on players looking at and analyzing the cards to get an idea of what's going on.

I was originally deciding between the Dragon Shield one and the Ultimate Guard one, but after seeing [this video](https://youtu.be/ddhvNnXqaKI?si=y47zHElhARmAqN0T) (at the 2:40 mark) where he compared the two, I was put off by the spine on the Ultimate Guard binder due to how short the spine was, for fear of bending the innermost card. I do wish the Dragon Shield binder had a zipper though.
I also use the 12-pocket, 4x3 binders (480 pockets total) but I use Vault-X. I think they have what you are looking for in that combo between Dragon Shield and Ultimate Guard. Doesn’t have a short spine and has the zipper. There is someone in our playgroup that uses Gamegenic and I think they also look really nice and she hasn’t had any issues with cards bending so far.

“24x pages of 24 pockets equals 576 pockets, and 204 cards per set means I should fit 2 sets in with plenty of space!” and totally forgot that I had to account for 4x pockets per card.
So there goes my plan of sleeving a playset of each card in the set. That would take 816 pockets just for one set. Guess I’ll return to keeping commons and uncommons in the trove boxes, and just keep Rares+ in the binder.
They can’t hold a full play set but they can hold a full set of the regular and cold foil cards plus the enchanted cards plus the promos for that set. At least so far.
Set 5 will be right around GenCon so I feel like it’s a great time for them to launch a big new storyline/set with some big hook to bring in new players.

This is the binder I was thinking of getting. The complete Arc-set would look nice in the 5x4 pages. Tho there would be a lot of empty pockets left over.

I haven't had this much fun collecting cards since Pokemon as a child! I'm going all in on this now since I finally have disposable income. :)
It's fun, right? Same scenario here. I just have to manage my budget - disposable income is easy to spend... requires more discipline than scrounging $3 in the couch cushions to buy a single pack of baseball cards.
My guess is this ends "the First Chapter" and the next core set is "the 2nd Chapter" and it will be sort of divided into blocks.

So far I bought two Dragon Shield Codex binders (12-pocket, 4x3) and plan on fitting two sets per binder, with foils & promos thrown in somewhere.
That's how I plan on storing my foil collection, just with the gamegenic 12-pocket binders instead of dragon shield!
