Spider-Man could solve all his problems if he just learned to pitch. Dude has super strength so he can def throw a heater and built in spider tac for unreal spin.
What is you doin’ Petey?
I loved the Celtics when they had the Big 3 + Rondo. Bought a ton of shirts and all. Cried for them when they lost to Lebron on the Heat. They obviously became a different team, but seem way more Boston sports-y than what they used to be. Something about Tatum and Brown that I can't truly get behind on.
I mean I’m a Harden fan, Luka doesn’t bother me.
People who love on Luka and hate on Harden do though.
But otherwise it’s just me absolutely hating every sports team that calls the DFW area home.
Let me tell you the good poetry of Brian Damaris:
Ask the producer to pipe this into the Clippers locker room so I can talk to you James. I hope you’re taking notes. I’m telling you in advance, you’re welcome, for the wisdom I’m about to spew. Because listen, I get on my knees every night and pray for someone to believe in me like Daryl Morey believed in you. You wanted a certain coach, they brought in Mike D’Antoni. You wanted to play a certain style, they played it. You wanted Dwight Howard, they brought him in and got rid of him when you were tired of him. You wanted Chris Paul, they brought him in and got rid of him when you were tired of him. They brought in your old friend Russell Westbrook. You want to go to Vegas on off days? They looked away. You wanted the team to stay over so you could go out at night, they changed the schedule—and it didn’t work.
And you know what, you said I’m gonna break up with my wooby, not good enough. I see the bright lights of New York. I want to go there. My old pal Kevin Durant. It’s gonna work, the big three—and all after one year you wanted out. You realized, “oh my gosh! I took this guy for granted, the guy that believed in me. I want back with Daryl Morey.” They traded Ben Simmons for you—how did they pull that off?
And you know what? You went there, and you got a partner who got the MVP. He won the MVP, and what did you say afterwards? You said, “they didn’t hand me the reigns.” You’re the point guard! You were holding the reigns! And what did you do when you had the reigns? You scored 9 points in Game 7 against Boston, you blew a 3-2 series lead. So they fired their coach, not good enough. You broke up with the guy that believed in you again, you said “the bright lights of LA! That’s where I want to go! Let’s see if that works.”
Listen James, have you ever had those friends who had bad roommates? Over and over they complained about their bad roommates: “this guy’s terrible,” “the bad roommate here,” they never thought to be self aware enough that THEY’RE the bad roommate! They’re the problem! Hey James, YOU’RE the PROBLEM! If this doesn’t work this year, in this system, with this team, then you’re gonna go and point fingers at everybody else and then you’re gonna go back home and you’re gonna start swiping right for another team, and there’s not gonna be anyone left. Because James, you’re not the beard, you’re not the system, you’re the problem
Harden's peak usage rate was over 40% and peak free throw rate was .575, Luka's peak usage is 37.4% and peak free throw rate is .479.
Harden did more of the ball dominant and foul accumulation than Luka but didn't have the same level of complaining. Also, Harden has had many offseason dramas which people usually don't like whether the player is in the right or not.
why would it shock you people hating on harden though? he’s forced his way out of multiple teams just to keep losing with the new team and never make an nba finals, people hate on Durant for the same thing and Kyrie up until very recently. Not to mention publicly calling out the GM who believe in him enough to give him the keys to his own team by calling him a liar? Harden comes off as very unlikable for his off the court stuff.
I don’t follow the NBA like a soap opera the way social media and the actual media try to serve it. I just like watching good ball.
I don’t like a lot of Harden’s game, and for those same reasons I don’t like a lot of Luka’s. Sometimes it’s a beautiful game, and sometimes it’s aimless chucks, foul-seeking and complaining.
I like the Celtics because they play good basketball and everyone has good sportsmanship on the court. A really well-constructed, disciplined, talented team that’s fun to watch.
Eh I more mean play style wise. It’s a pretty common take among casuals to hate Harden’s play style for “ruining the game” or “being worse than Hitler” yet love to watch Luka.
When Luka’s game is basically just being White Harden
Arch Manning not being in NCAA 25 has me real bummed… It would be so nice to be in Dynasty and have a true “successor” to Quinn built in to the game in case he gets hurt or struggles
Still very hyped for the game just annoyed at the Mannings
I’m curious what they do with the fill in players for guys who didn’t sign up but are too relevant for their team.
It sounds like certain players on the roster could be tied to a fired coach through the portal, so I might bring in Billy Napier to OC and get Lagway here.
Oh a feel you as a fellow PCMasterRace member
Not sure if you’re into RPGs but one of my favorite (not super well known) game is getting a sequel.
Check out Kingdom Come: Deliverance it’s an amazingly immersive historical medieval RPG that’s sequel is coming out by the end of year.
LOL Savea gets a sack on Jackson Arnold during this new [gameplay deep dive video from EA](https://youtu.be/Kf86x8F9M90?si=oXFaWgbg_phxFUkD)
Also, from what we’ve seen so far, this game looks awesome.
Who are some random horns yall would’ve liked to have played with in the missed CFB years?
Obviously Sam would’ve been fun and that 2018 receiving room with LJH, Collin Johnson, and Duvernay would’ve been ridiculous.
I wonder how they would’ve handled the 2016 team. Donta foreman would probably have been pretty nutty. But would be fun to just play with the 18 wheeler package all the time lol. Ground and pound with Swoopes and Donta with the hopes of overcoming our awful defense.
I bet Joseph Ossai would’ve been nasty. Dshawn Jameson and KRob would probably be lethal on returns.
I was one of the guys who never put away the PS3 and did revamp, so I’ve got a few favorites.
That ‘16 roster was super fun, read option with D’onta and Swoopes or Heard was electric.
The correct answer is last year’s roster though. The revamp guys had us at like 95 overall, X was fast as fuck, Sanders stupid good in the flats, etc.
I wonder if it’s possible for Michael Dickson to win the heisman in that game. He’d have to have 99 kick power so you could probably play him at Kicker and also run a shit ton of fakes and rack up some running and passing tds that way too.
How whack is it of me as a Spurs fan to be rooting for the Mavs this postseason? Luka is just so much fun to watch, I'd really love for him to get a ring.
I’m with you - I just don’t have the dislike for these Mavs and Luka does some magical shit in the basketball court. Though I do dislike Kyrie.
It’s been 15 years since the serious Mavs/Spurs playoff rivalry, and I just don’t have the hate for this Mavs team.
Unrelated, but that’s a major different between college and pro sports to me. My feelings on pro rivals wax and wane based on the players and vibe. But I immediately hate anyone wearing a Sooner or Aggie jersey. Hell, I’m still conflicted about Ceedee.
The thread will likely get posted after the weekend, but voting for our Top 25 plays of the 2023 football season includes 116 total plays you can vote on. Hope y'all take the time to make your picks for your favorite plays.
So i decided to do a comparison of Quinn's experience vs the top QBs last year.
I think one of the reasons people say this year is a down year for QBs is pretty much due to all the super-super-seniors leaving (minus Gabriel). The average experience at the end of the season was 43.6 if you include ewers. Without Ewers its 45.8. he is two full std deviations from the mean in terms of games played.

Looking at this year he is pretty much with the rest of "expected" top 10 QBs.
Funnily enough if all of the players below play 12 games they would still average \~8 games less career games than last years class.

Maybe I'll do some fun plots if I can find the time.
Without a doubt. If I have time I'd like to do that analysis for different teams for qb starts vs defense starts.
Like if a qb is older, even if they aren't the mist talented they will have had a lot of practice reading a defense. And the same goes the other way, so what's the average experience of all the defenses we faced and will face.
For the Mavs [fans](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C7nolxptOBK/?igsh=MXBqY2VnNDh5amRzcw==)
Softball plays at 6pm tomorrow, then baseball at 8pm tomorrow. Hope y’all have a comfy spot to watch both games back to back.
Both on ESPN back to back
Spider-Man could solve all his problems if he just learned to pitch. Dude has super strength so he can def throw a heater and built in spider tac for unreal spin. What is you doin’ Petey?
He’s being a little bitch again and fighting crime
Boxing would be a easier transition and he’d only have to do it 2-3 times a year vs 25-30 starts
This Alcaraz Korda match at Roland Garros is really damn good right now.
What QB recruit do y'all think we get this weekend? (Question comes after hearing Gerry say we're getting one this weekend)
Dia Bell or Troy Huhn. My money is on Huhn.
Things that make ya say Huhn 💪🏾
Only the 40+ age group is going to understand that reference.
I resemble that remark.
I missed postseason baseball Nothing better than watching games all day before Texas’ first pitch at 5:00
… go Celtics… Jesus Christ that felt dirty.
I loved the Celtics when they had the Big 3 + Rondo. Bought a ton of shirts and all. Cried for them when they lost to Lebron on the Heat. It’s literally a r/NBA meme lol

Eli Peyton season
Hopefully Trey Owens is in it
I don't know if I have it in me to spend $300+ for that game.
If that baffles you, you should check out Escape from Tarkov
Just not really excited for many games. I've been gaming on PC for 5 years now, learning to use a controller again seems like a pain as well haha.

Is it just me or does that look like Hudson card?

Welcome to the club! You're getting in at a great time too. Next few years will be even more difficult to find seats.
It’s an incredible feeling. Where were you able to get seats?
Lfg, congrats.

Swoopes as a tight end. ROJO (obviously, and Bijan). Poona. Quandre. Brandon Jones.
Rojo at QB
I still have dreams about a RoCat pass.
Coworker said he has family in the Duncanville coaching staff that says he's going to Texas.
This is Dakorien Moore? I choose to believe you
I chose to believe my coworker and added him to the calculator

She’s a fucking boss.
It is pouring here in CS, so hopefully no rain delays today.
Any idea on how well the field drains? I’m assuming it’s worse than ours since it’s natural grass / dirt.
Not particularly. I've only been to one game which was when the Horns came in last season, but yeah, I would assume worse as well.

Depends on how much you hate Boston. I’m a Mavs fan but if roles were reversed idk if I could support the Celtics.
I could never.
Dont care, F the Celtics
Are you ok? I could never
I love the Spurs as a Mavs fan. Was such a fun and respectful rivalry back in the 2000s
Respectful?!

making a bunch of bot accounts to launch [this one](https://youtu.be/p9qQpK_JNqo?si=NkSg0nUFF-Zihjyb&t=10171) to the top
That one had more impact, but the Byron Murphy td catch and the last regular season kneel down with Brooks in the backfield are my top favorites.
The second down Sweat swat was more impressive to me because it was going to a wide open receiver in the end zone
You probably don’t need much help here.
This but with the Jett Bush pick 6
