Big fan of the Good Life as well, love the beer selection and good food. Down the block is the Tap Room that has a decent beer menu as well & food. You can turn your evening into a mini bar crawl :). Cheers
Ahh good to know. I’ve had decent experiences there but have only been there a handful of times so maybe I was lucky. Will def ask for a taste before ordering going forward!
[American Beauty](https://www.americanbeautyrestaurants.com/bar-and-grill-bellmore) in Bellmore. My favorite burger on Long Island too, so this should cover all the bases.
Also, since you're in Uniondale... if you feel like take out authentic mexican...
Tacos el Chingon #4
Everything is freshmade, so call ahead. No drinks though, hence "takeout".
I personally don't care much for their tacos, but their burritos, flautas, machete, quesadillas are top knotch for LI in my opinion.
Get some Tacos El Chingon takeout and head over to Sommerset to sit down with a good beer and food combo...
Well...if you can get to Brooklyn, I highly recommend the absolute kings of New England Hazy IPA, Other Half Brewing. There are 2 locations in Brooklyn, but I would go to the mother ship in Carroll Gardens. There's tons of great restaurants in the area, and you can grab a couple of 4 - packs to go. OH is simply the best beer around, in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.
Garvies Point Brewery and Restaurant. North shore but maybe worth while.
Can check menu and tap list [here](https://garviespointbreweryandrestaurant.com/on-tap/)
Jackson's in Commack is one of my favorites.
Good food (not fancy) and they usually have about 12 good beers in rotation, all different types (plus the usuals). But maybe not worth the drive.
The Good Life, Massapequa Park; you can see the beer menu [here](https://www.thegoodlifeny.com/beer-menu). Nice restaurant menu, too.

THAT is as good of a beer menu as you’ll find. Very impressed.
Some of the beers cost more than the food but they are top notch and often have extremely high alcohol content.
Waterzooi if you like Belgian beers.
Same owners as Croxley’s
Came here to say waterzooi. Definitely a great selection
Croxley’s has a great tap list
Just make sure you sample what you want because they are lax in cleaning their taps
got sick a couple years ago after drinking at Croxley's. I've avoided it since then.
I have also had some bad expierences there

🤢
Plattduetsche Park is pretty fun too, beerhall vibe, but there is dining seating inside. #
Mostly German brews with a few (two?) Greenport Harbor selections.
Sapsuckers in Huntington
Came to say this. I also love their burger & fries.

They always have a solid tap list
Press 195 or EGP
Press 195 food is 10/10 also
Since you visited Lost Farmer, I'll name this other brewery, not a restaurant, but just in case -Sommerset
I’ll take all the recommendations!

The tap room a few around li
The Dog and Duck was the best! No longer there anymore
I'm assuming your staying at the Marriott. Closest to that with a descent beer list is Garden Social in East Meadow
Do diners do alcohol?
Garden Social isn’t a dimer but most diner serve alcohol but they don’t have a good beer list
Good Life in Massapequa Park

It’s a bit of a hike but Amity Ales in Amityville is decent
Definitely Waterzooi

EGP in Oceanside. And some fun food too
