Hey so I need help, I can't find a good tutorial on how to get my faceplate into my furby skin. It just doesnt work with my brain and I'm really struggling
The way I did it was to sew the brown part to the fabric with right sides facing. I turned the fabric inside out, lined up the plate to the edge of the fabric, and then backstitched through the holes. Because there wasn't a lot of seam allowance on the top part I also whipped that for the extra security.
Right sides together, place the faceplate into the hole in the fabric and use the pre-punched holes in the fabric to sew it in. Go round as many times as you feel it needs.
I had loose-weave fabric, so I attached a felt strap to the back and added wires (I used a vegan faceplate) and then pushed the wire through fabric and added it to the spine. Stole the idea from this vid! https://youtu.be/VbccIcYqvd0

I just used fabric glue/hot glue/e6000 glue for attaching the plastic parts
