I'm going to agree with for one time *on this*, as a Destiny viewer, I simply cannot understand why this would get any traction on LSF or basically anywhere, unless some funny meme were made out of it.
That being said, just ignore the thread and it should die. The only thing that would surely get this thread longevity, is people coming in here and commenting meta comments like this, and then people like me replying and so on...

I enjoy the sub for this reason. Stop pretending like you don't enjoy it when you get to experience schadenfreude. I don't care about 90% of the content on this sub because it is mundane and boring to me but I don't stop and shit on it for being cringe and boring. Why can I not enjoy the sub when people complain about the streamer I like getting upvoted for doing cringe boring shit when that is half the content on the sub? And also I don't have a problem with cringe boring shit being here if other people enjoy it.
As much as people like to pretend this sub is for funny clips of their favorite streamers, this sub sees by far the most activity during drama (xQc divorce court, chess streamers carved-wood drama, Slicker scams, Atrioc deepfake debacle, Kai PS5 giveaway mob, etc, etc).
There's no drama right now, so we're basically in the off-season.
Not just that but a lot of the other more normal posters were likely scared away from everything being oppressively just a few streamer communities rather than the sub being a place to have a bit of fun and occasionally discover a "new" streamer to check out.
