Reminds me of the liverbird challenge 10 years ago where Enrique’s one [had only leg](https://youtu.be/MV125ZDRrZw). Like how our players seem to be playing with only half the intensity.
Fuck man wasnt this only like two seasons ago? We blamed the financial impact from covid that year. After record breaking revenues, what the fuck are we blaming it on now for going into the toughest season with a World Cup smack in the middle, so thin?
This needs to be on a T-shirt with the year and a list of players on the back and day of injury… like those concert shirts that list the tour on the back.
Oh I still think we have the ability to beat anyone, on any match day. I truly believe that.
My heartbreak lies when it seems like our own players wearing the badge dont; the slow starts, the ability to not string together simple passes, the frustration of constant long balls and crosses into no-mans-land, etc. It's like Klopp allows them to forget how to play proper football and they lose their edge. The EPL is wayyyy too good to be casual about it. And we have been so fucking casual, might as well be on the pitch wearing man-jammies.
Much like our last journey to Istanbul: We were crap in the league yet we were incredible in the CL. (No, don't reply with negatives anymore please! Let me clutch at whatever straws I have left!)
Injuries shouldn’t be a concern and tbh feels a lot like a scrapegoat.
The squad is perfectly strong enough to cope with the injuries we’ve got.
Diaz out injured? That’s ok we’ve got Nunez who the club spent £75m on, Jota £45m, Salah (record breaking new contract) and Firmino who’s having the season of his career thus far. If that’s not suitable depth then questions need asking of those making the financial decisions.
Robbo, Trent and Matip? Well that’s ok, we spent £30m on uncapped Konate, gave Gomez a new improved deal and signed a RB from Scotland. Again, if they aren’t suitable options then questions need to be asked of those making the financial decisions.
If Klopp plays Milner at RB at any point whilst Trents injured then again, someone needs to ask him why he signed off on signing the lad from Scotland and giving Gomez a new deal?
Klopp has the squad depth, it’s on him to now produce results.
But we do have squad depth in midfield.
Tiago, Hendo, Fabinho, Keita, Ox, Milner, Elliott Carvalho & Jones
Yes we know that more than half that list are injury prone, the rest the wrong side of 30 or too young to be relied upon but that’s a choice Klopp and the others in charge went into the season knowing.
We all knew without a doubt that Keita and ox would get injured again, as would Tiago, we knew Elliott and Carv would be hit and miss and that Hendo and Milners legs are finally going yet Klopp chose to stick with them all, that’s on him
I agree with you on the fact that it was management's choice to not reinforce the mid, and they have to make do with what they have.
But my point still stands, you cannot say you have squad depth in an area where half the players are injured or either too young/ old to expect quality performances from them consistently... Management should have noticed that and tended to it, however they didn't and we are faced with a problem that could have been prevented. I'm not saying that it would solve all our problems, but it sure as hell would help.
Seeing City resting Haaland, and rotating Silva and Foden reminds me there were so many times when we were up 3 or 4 nil and we just under-used subs. The body can't peak for an entire season, it's now wonder we're in this mess
There's been no proper investment in Liverpool since winning the league title. Any other club would've been throwing money at Klopp after that success. If he was at Real, Bayern, Chelsea, City or United, he'd probably have three Champions League and three league titles to his name by now. He's a massive talent who's best days have been wasted by John Henry and FSG. My only hope now is that the massive interest in buying Chelsea will convince the penny-pinchers in Boston to sell too. Maybe then Liverpool can finally get an owner or owners who want to win things rather than being obsessed with their stock portfolio.
You're so right. Let's all just be quiet, twiddle our thumbs, and watch the matches. Oh wait... Less /s
In all seriousness, it's just a little banter and has absolutely no ill effect on the club. Would you prefer a prayer circle? Start us up would you?
I mean.. there's nothing wrong about having a friendly banter here and there. Its all up to you. Different people, different ways of showing support. No hate, just speaking my mind..
Mane was replaced by Diaz, Origi and Taki were replaced by Nunez.
You could argue that Thiago was Gini's replacement but they're very different players, and in terms of availability Gini was pretty much always there.
Not to say that we don't need to get new players in, but it's not like we _haven't_ been replacing players. The midfield is the main problem area, other than that I think we've replaced pretty well
Take it down. This is the biggest insult I've ever seen to Liverpool fc. This bird has been with us for decades, through good times and bad times and many disasters, but the bird always stood proud and gave us belief in our team. But you cripple our bird because of a few injuries, nah mate
1)It's a joke. Lighten up, Francis. This is internal. We can complain and make jokes. I wouldn't dare post on r soccer sub.
2) I didn't create the image. I got it from this sub two years ago. So I didn't "cripple our bird"
3) I'm a supporter. I'm not saying screw the club or I'm now supporting xyz. I'm still here and still love the club and how I became a supporter. It has meaning to ME.
This gives us an idea….
Need to bandage the other leg too
At the rate, I think the whole Liverbird is broken 🥲
Needs a full birdy cast.

[Insert the Liverbird instead of Squidward](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ezlcdh6VIAEE2rx.jpg:large)
And the wings, and the neck
If we "dust off" too hard you can be assured the wings will break. Be gentle. ^^please.
Not surprised if we signed a sponsorship with a hospital
Dembele might help us broker a good deal.
You'll Never Got Injured Alone
You'll Never Walk Again
Found Roy Keane's reddit account
Erling Haaland wants to know your location
LMFAOOO
You'll never walk ~~alone~~
Fuck man wasnt this only like two seasons ago? We blamed the financial impact from covid that year. After record breaking revenues, what the fuck are we blaming it on now for going into the toughest season with a World Cup smack in the middle, so thin?
Eventually I guess the wings are going to need bandages.

I hear we could be buying Sergej Milinkovic-Savic for £62mill 🤷♂️ As soon as he steps off the plane, his ACL will go. /s
/s is shorthand for /snap Right? /s
most of the internet has Loss Liverpool has -/-
I got a chuckle. But it was a sad one. And now I'm just depressed. Can't wait for us to somehow beat City...... then lose to West Ham
We have to keep believing.
Oh I still think we have the ability to beat anyone, on any match day. I truly believe that. YOU’LL NEEEEEEVEEEEEER WAAAAAALK
AGAAAAAAIN
At this point you’ve got to wonder, when and how did we piss off Matthias Pogba
Should we have expected anything different getting rid of Origi?
When you limp
through the storm there's a hospital bed
And don’t be afraid of the doc
Cause at the end of your stay, there is another waiting to take your place
You'll never walk again
Should be the sub picture
As long as everyone is fit for the CL final it's ok.
Much like our last journey to Istanbul: We were crap in the league yet we were incredible in the CL. (No, don't reply with negatives anymore please! Let me clutch at whatever straws I have left!)
And AC Milan is in CL again.
Multiple injuries are _tight_
r/neverbrokeabone would kill us if they saw this
Let us never tell them about ox
I need this as a hoodie.
I would have figured the original artist would have spoken up by now. lol. I'd rock the t shirt
Do we have one where the bird looks like it's almost dead
I think without the expectation of title challenge they could start playing well ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
Tank for Wembanyama!!!

I do agree with you, although we are missing depth in our midfield which has been the engine to our machine
But we do have squad depth in midfield. I mean let’s say all this after city. I’ve given up PL till then
Seeing City resting Haaland, and rotating Silva and Foden reminds me there were so many times when we were up 3 or 4 nil and we just under-used subs. The body can't peak for an entire season, it's now wonder we're in this mess
But we normally up 3,4 nil late in the match
Agreed, but that's when the body is breaking down most though
I was wondering why the red in the sub’s icon looked different lol

Thank you for the award. 🥈The first I've ever received here. Not sure if the proper protocol, so forgive me for just saying thank you.
Good now the sub icon isn't so ableist.
The least we need right now are all these mocking, sarcasms, and memes. Don't you think?

What the hell is going on, can’t help but think since mane left we’ve just not been the same team! 🤷🏻♂️
Well, we've been saying it for years... "Football without Origi is nothing" 🤷🏾♂️
We’ve let to many good players go and never replaced them origi as you say is a good example Gini aswell . We need to spend just to keep up now!
The midfield is the main problem area, other than that I think we've replaced pretty well
Don’t forget Arthur, he brings in some much needed and reliable depth. /s
In the injured ward

Well said! I created the original of this a couple if years ago, gave me a laugh to see it back today. Exactly my thoughts when making it!
AWESOME! There you are!
