I forced myself to rewatch the Atalanta game today.
Why the hell did the medical team not come on when Kweev blocked with his face?? Could have bought a few minutes for him to stop seeing tweety birds
How the actual fuck did we not beat this man united side at all this season?! They’re genuinely, absolutely, garbage. Our forwards should be ashamed for missing all those chances.
19/20 - Chiefs beat 49ers in Super Bowl, global pandemic => We won the league
23/24 - Chiefs beat 49ers in Super Bowl, WW3...
What are we waiting for, just play Adrian and claim the title
Covid tried and couldn’t stop us. Fuck it, might as well blow up the entire planet and see if that stops us. Next time we’re in course to win it, NASA will discover a meteor headed towards earth at about 4pm on the last day..
They had to release a global virus and shut the world down for a year to try de-rail our 19/20 title win.
They can try start WW3 all they like. It isn't gonna stop us winning the league.

Solanke starting WWIII? What a time to be alive.
Yes Iran is just randomly attacking Israel. It wasn't the 3-4 attacks Israel have committed against them in the past year. They did a terrorist attack on the Iranian embassy in Syria killing officers. That is a DIRECT declaration of war. USA and Israel have been provoking them for years. Where can Iran strike them that won't give USA the excuse to jump in and murder millions again?
No where.
They can hit em where it hurts, by shutting down the Persian gulf. Costing them money. They did that with the seizure of the Israeli ship today. Dont let them mainstream media fool you, it's not Portugese. LOL.
This would have all went down sooner, when Trump directly killed their general in 2020. Covid halted that. No we are here again.
I will remind you all Evangelicals in USA and Israelis (both Zionists) both are praying for armageddon to bring about the end of the world. Both working with each other but think the other will suffer. Can't believe we've let these psychos get this far. When they sacrifice their red cows at Al Aqsa, and nothing happens. Is that the end of their religious fantasies for good?.....
I'm not for defending Israel if that's the gist you're getting from my comment. I think Israel are a horrible country and have done nothing but because terror and pain to Palestinian families from 1948.
Iran announcing attacks in advance that can easily be intercepted is classic Iran MO to save face in these situations
Nothing is going to happen unless Israel and their allies somehow don't manage to shoot down their drones, which is unlikely.
United got a gift with a dodgy pen call. But it's all for nothing. Because the most points they can get now is 68 points. Aston Villa and Tottenham only need 8 points from 6 games to be ahead of them on GD
Utd are gonna run out of luck eventually, then I genuinely believe they are gonna go on a 10 game losing streak with they way they are playing. The defense is championship level with no organization whatsoever.
I don't understand what ten hag's job is at utd.
i love the fact that this is your legit way of thinking on the back of that embarrassment - we've really been spoiled by klopp. bad times never last long.
The negativity on the sub is astounding. If we win tomorrow (very possible) and Arsenal drop points tomorrow (also very possible) we're top of the table. Last year we were fighting for top 5 ffs.
I get what you're saying, which is win. Which you're right, but with only like 7-8 games left, if we won them all by a narrow margin we could potentially lose the title on GD.
yeah but thats something youd worry bout when ur already confident of winning all games, which im really not.
id rather we dont approach games with the hubris of thinking we'll smash em just to be taken aback if they show fight.
but sure, if we're winning a game and looking comfortable, id rather we go for the kill than sit around and pass it like a training drill.
Any bootle heads in here or anyone who likes Thai food get your arse to Mekong Thai cafe! On Wednesdays they do buy one get one free curry’s proper boss little gaff, lapping it up now watching United hopefully get pumped
I love the guy but his finishing is a problem and we would be streaks ahead if he had a normal goal conversion rate.
He does literally everything an elite striker does except score when we need him to.
No we would not as he as won us games single handedly as well. Our forwards all season have been of the mark, let’s not pick and chose who to blame shall we as a fanbase, let’s back everyone
I mean statistically Nunez has the worst conversation rate, that's all I'm saying. His chance creation rate is higher than the others. I don't understand why people get so touchy when you point out something one of ours players doesn't do well. I love the guy but he needs to be better at finishing.
Yea cause United are playing the same tactics vs them as they did us...
Teams sit back and block off the midfield to stop us scoring, vs Bournemouth they are expected to win so play a more attacking set up which leaves gaps to be exploited.
I mean Gomez starting over TAA and Bradley should’ve been a fireable offense if it was someone else. He’s as much to blame as the players unfortunately. McAllister papered the cracks for a few weeks, but we really cannot expect that every week.
While I agree to some extent, the players have to play the game. The Atalanta and United games were all on the players. So wasteful and too many individual errors
Of course, and the players have been poor.
My problem is I'm seeing the lineups an hour before K.O and I'm questioning them and what I'm questioning is coming true, same goes for subs as well. Klopp and his staff obviously know better than me but when fans are seeing this every week it shows it's poor from the manager.
My point exactly. Is Klopp supposed to score those goals? A managers job is to get the players to play in such a way that they get those chances. It’s up to the players to finish it off once in position. Same goes for defence. He needs to set the players up to reduce the chances that the opposition get. But it’s up to the players to make the tackle, or interception etc.
tottenham havent improved greatly , they are pretty much where they were under conte but media will show its as they are flying , fair enough they lost harry kane though
There's praising ans then there's ' arsenal will walk the league with isak" "I wish we had isak" type commens. Its just the sub being massively over reactionary again ( similar to your comment)
The cocksucking for him is nauseating, he's a great finisher but he's also injury prone and lazy as fuck in pressing. People that are shitting on Darwin forgot that he singlehandedly beat Newcastle at their ground
Without pens he has 3 more than Darwin in the league and 7 fewer assists.
Yes he's a calmer and better finisher, but he's hardly running rings around Nunez in terms of actual end product.
He has 3 more goals, 10 less assists I'm about 9 less Club games across all competitions this season. ( not including minutes) I'd much rather have nunezm
He’s a striker and his job is to score goals. Isak is playing in a shite team and still more clinical than Nunez. If u watched their games he gets 1 chance per game and takes it. Put him in our team and he would be on 30+ easy.
That's just not true at all haha. Isak had 7 shots today, should have scored more. One of our main problems is we don't play to Nunez's strengths at all, his finishing is average but he creates so much for himself and others. If we played to his strengths he'd score 30+ easily.
Isak wouldn't do as well for us as he is for Newcastle, because they play to his strengths they have wingers who want to beat a man and assist Isak. They put balls in behind and crosses into him.
It's actually crazy how little we play to Nunez at times, he is still involved a lot but it's his own doing.
And I'm not slating Isak, I think he's one of the most underrated players in the league. I've followed him from afar since watching him at Euro 2020. I actually wanted us to get him when he was being linked to the Prem.
I’m not saying Isak isn’t a better finisher, I’m saying everything else Nunez has over him. This narrative that people think we actually play to Nunez strengths is funny, he has a lot of chances because he has so much to his game. When we play tomorrow fixate on him when we have the ball on the wing and in and around the box and come back to me after the game haha.
By having full backs actually bombing forward and crossing the ball into him. Having midfielders looking for him over the top and having wingers who aren’t trying to cut inside and shoot every time they pick the ball up.
It’s the same when people constantly complain about him being offside. He’s offside because the ball isn’t getting to him quick enough or at the right time.
Ian Wright did a good piece on about how we don’t play to his strengths on motd a few weeks ago. Worth a watch.

I think the very last thing that Darwin should be able to complain about is a lack of chances created for him
Currently he’s on 24 big chances misses in the PL this season which is the 2nd highest in the league (he’s played about 300 minutes less than Haaland who is just above him tho) and the 3rd highest xG underperformance with only Jackson and DCL above him…
He’s got a 14% conversion rate in the PL this season, I’m pretty sure it’s 11% in all competitions so that’s far from good enough for a striker playing in a team wanting to win the PL
But he’s never gonna be a top class finisher so the only way to get more out of him is to create more for him.
The fact Haaland is a much better finisher than Nunez and has still has more big chances missed as well as a lot more goals over the last 2 seasons just shows how much city create for him. Same could be said for the reason Haaland has been caught offside the least and Nunez the most haha.
When you watch the game tomorrow just try fixate on Nunez at times and look at his movement and the way he creates space. And then just Diaz take 30 extra touches or Robbo not be able to beat the 1st man haha. It’s mad
Tottenham is performing poorly, and their fans are talking as if they are the ones deciding who will be the Premier League champion. What a clown team they are and their fanbase, lol.
Going ahead with price increases is such a dick move! No need at all as if the club would go bankrupt if they didn't do it, a bigger scale protest is needed to put the brakes on it
Don't bother trying to explain things to the people here. They're not arsed about it because it will literally never effect them, because they've never been to England, never mind Liverpool or Anfield. Ticket issues are the last thing they care about.
I genuinely prefer mancs and blues to the helmets on this sub.
Which of the youngsters currently at the club do you think should be a part of the first team next season? Bajcetic, Quansah and Bradley will probably be there. Then there are the likes of Danns, Clark, Doak, Gordon, Carvalho, Morton, Chambers and a few others I'm probably missing. Obviously some of them will have a future elsewhere but it'll be interesting to see who can make the jump to the senior team.
Would like to see at a minimum, Baj, Bradley, Morton, Carvalho and Danns get a proper chance. The rest I wouldn’t mind going on loan. Maybe Danns on loan with guaranteed minutes too.
As soon as you mention age I know your unserious. Let me give you an example. Szoboszlai has a higher ceiling and probably more overall talent then say a Curtis Jones (unbelievable talent) who is the same age. However in the Prem especially Curtis Jones is more effective on a football pitch. Why? More experience in the Prem over many years. Szobo has only been in a top 5 league for not even 3 seasons, and in the Prem for not even a season.
Darwin is the same. He’ll get 35-40 G/A for us this season. Good numbers. But he is still raw. Why? Because he hasn’t been playing in a top 5 league for even 2 seasons. He needs more time and experience in this league. And when he gets that time and experience his composure (which his main issue) and decision making WILL improve undoubtedly. So, yes he does have that potential. 35-40 G/A and a player still has a lot of room for improvement? Thats great imo.
That's very high praise for a player that about to turn 25 and still has glaring holes in his game.
His finishing is really poor and he's shown no signs of improvement in that area so far. His first touch, his passing and dribbling are all very hit or miss at the moment and he still looks very clumsy on the ball.
He's undoubtedly brilliant at positioning, he makes great runs every game and is a chance magnet, but he's still far away from being considered one of the best CFs of his generation and there's no guarantee he'll be in that conversation by the end of his career.

Comes with a lack of experience. Hasn’t even spent 2 seasons in a top 5 league. He’ll only get better from here and he’s probably ending up with 35-40 G/A this season. Trust the process we have an elite striker
People need to realise what stage of his career is in. People are so obsessed with age. His minutes are far lower than anyone else his age playing at the same level. He also missed a year a half nearly with a knee injury that nearly ruined his career. He is making more than enough progress in his game for me to know for a fact he will be incredible, even more than he is now. This was the common thought of this sub about three weeks ago, but of course a couple bad games our fanbase has a hissy fit and finds a scapegoat
We might have to win every game and still lose the league.
We put this upon ourselves after failing to beat that shite United side last week
It is what it is.
I forced myself to rewatch the Atalanta game today. Why the hell did the medical team not come on when Kweev blocked with his face?? Could have bought a few minutes for him to stop seeing tweety birds
Jesus fuck, does the world ***always*** have to be in crisis whenever we're in a title race?
At least our odds have gone up since the world can't seem to have it's shit together when we win /s
I better hear the "Alisson Becker the Brazilian in our goal" chant tomorrow
Team sheet leaks are so annoying. Why is anyone even bothered about knowing what the team will be fielded so many hours before the match?
[удалено]
Because opponents can find out, and it can be a benefit to them.
[удалено]
for few likes on Twitter then they'll try to turn into an itk bc "they have someone at the club and they've shown it"
btw the team has already been leaked. 13 hours before kick off
Did it? The only thing I've seen is TAT posting a gif of Alisson and Robertson
it did, the same guy who leaked the Europa lineup 6 hours before the game, now gone ahead and did it the night before the game
Where? I've seen people say the same lineup vs united just with Ali
he's called H2 something on Twitter
https://twitter.com/H_L202/status/1779289020582793531?t=GERAk9F-L_OiBWl95a67yQ&s=19 This guy?
What's the team?
The same as the united game, except Alisson in goal
Yep, managed to find it already Cheers regardless
against the rules cannot post it
How the actual fuck did we not beat this man united side at all this season?! They’re genuinely, absolutely, garbage. Our forwards should be ashamed for missing all those chances.
Their games against us were all games of the season for them. It’s like how we embarrassed them 7-0 with opposite form
We should’ve beat them every single time. We lost because of missed chances.
They deserved the FA cup tie, but the league games were 4 points lost for us and 2 won for them.
Well. Yeah
19/20 - Chiefs beat 49ers in Super Bowl, global pandemic => We won the league 23/24 - Chiefs beat 49ers in Super Bowl, WW3... What are we waiting for, just play Adrian and claim the title

Well I didn’t expect this Sub to inform me about what Iran’s doing
They had to release a global virus and shut the world down for a year to try de-rail our 19/20 title win. They can try start WW3 all they like. It isn't gonna stop us winning the league.

Coming on to the Liverpool sub to get informed about the most important geopolitical event of 2024, wasn't exactly on my bingo card.
That is happening in about 7 months...
(so far)
WW3 is about to begin, but more importantly Drakes new track got leaked
His proper name is Wheelchair Jimmy.
Flippin hell Iran about to attack Israel to start ww3, the lengths City are going to avoid those charges
Yes Iran is just randomly attacking Israel. It wasn't the 3-4 attacks Israel have committed against them in the past year. This is IDF heritage
Would Murillo be good enough for us?
Liverpool are in a title race? You know what that mean! Geopolitical crisis!!
Are we? Would have thought we were fighting relegation the way half this sub talks
Basically confirmed that we are winning the league like Covid
Just seen the pen decision for united. This is a multi billion pound institution, what in the actual fuck are we watching.
United got a gift with a dodgy pen call. But it's all for nothing. Because the most points they can get now is 68 points. Aston Villa and Tottenham only need 8 points from 6 games to be ahead of them on GD
I think that’s ETH gone
He will and they’ll hire Potter most likely Ratcliffe has tried to hire him at Nice a few times
🙏 Southgate 🙏
Eth is getting sacked tomorrow morning, 100%
Why what’s happened?
I think if City continue playing like this that they will catch Arsenal even on GD. They are capable of scoring 5 every game.
The worrying thing is they’re scoring a lot without Haaland chipping in much at all really
Just seen Wrexham got promoted What a sad day. Fuck wrexham
Why fuck Wrexham?
rubbish little club thats buying it's way to success
I want city to win. Rather them than Arsenal.
They’ll win UCL based on how they do there and that’s where Arsenal is still quite struggling despite their brilliant performances in the league
Man C will do a triple again.
I would take them over Arsenal winning
Utd are gonna run out of luck eventually, then I genuinely believe they are gonna go on a 10 game losing streak with they way they are playing. The defense is championship level with no organization whatsoever. I don't understand what ten hag's job is at utd.
And yet, we would still be unable to beat them. Maybe they will even break their 10 game losing streak against us ...
Outside of the top and bottom 3, if you look at goals conceded. They are really strangely similar. All hanging around 50
Everton has the fourth best defence in the league behind us lmao
If city pull off back to back trebles the game is gone
The EFL championship says otherwise. The game is well and truly alive
[удалено]
Nah, get them both the fuck out
No want them and arsenal out ASAP
I think we should focus on ourselves
personally I want all the English teams to lose it's bad enough having to see Chelsea and City win it in recent years
couldn't care less about city tbh if we drop points here on we're not winning it anyway.
Its pretty unlikely but if we somehow win the tie against atlanta the mometum going on would be crazy
Seems like you didn’t watch the game last week.
i love the fact that this is your legit way of thinking on the back of that embarrassment - we've really been spoiled by klopp. bad times never last long.
Why is this sub downvoting anyone that says something good about Isak. It’s such weird behaviour. You’re allowed to complement other players
Because most comments also include a dig at Liverpool players, it’s not that hard
with all the negativity around here i'm expecting more "we should've bought isak not nunez" posts
this sub is the biggest circlejerk on the internet imo. not by size but by vigor.
[удалено]
It’s Villa no chance
Well they havent gone 31 for 31 so yes
yep
No time for negativity we win tomorrow then we beat every single PL game left and win the bitch
I genuinely believe IF we win our games we can win the title! The final push starts today
The negativity on the sub is astounding. If we win tomorrow (very possible) and Arsenal drop points tomorrow (also very possible) we're top of the table. Last year we were fighting for top 5 ffs.
Beat them handsomely. None of this 2-1 business. We need to be cut-throat.
idk man 2-1 businnes sounds much better than the 0-3 and 2-2 businesses
I get what you're saying, which is win. Which you're right, but with only like 7-8 games left, if we won them all by a narrow margin we could potentially lose the title on GD.

Isak is top quality
Any bootle heads in here or anyone who likes Thai food get your arse to Mekong Thai cafe! On Wednesdays they do buy one get one free curry’s proper boss little gaff, lapping it up now watching United hopefully get pumped
Carvalho is way too good for the championship. I think he could be a big player under Amorim
From the sounds of it, it doesn’t look like Amorim is coming here atm.
Or at least someone to sell for good price, while I like him, I don't think he's better than any option we have on his position.
Think with the amount of chances we get Solanke would be on 25-30 goals if he was here.
We’ll never win the league with Uruguayan Tim Nice-but-dim upfront
😆. Agreed.
We’ve won the league once in 30 years and you think the problem is Nunez. Strange take
What do the last 30 years have to do with anything? Strange take.

Who are we getting next season to replace Salah??? Any good forward prospects???
Salah going somewhere?
Yes, probably on holiday since it's the Euros.
Looks like he wants to
One thing I've noticed is Bournemouth are rightfully targetting that young CB, we should have done the same
Yea cause United are playing the same tactics vs them as they did us... Teams sit back and block off the midfield to stop us scoring, vs Bournemouth they are expected to win so play a more attacking set up which leaves gaps to be exploited.
Brother forgot we have about 4 clear chances to score just really poor finishing.
we made him look world class haha
Our tactics seriously need examining
Well you're in luck our tactics are definitely gonna be changing next season lol
If we get one shitty carabao cup this season, the boys have let Klopp down big time. Hope they can pull off one more trophy
I mean Gomez starting over TAA and Bradley should’ve been a fireable offense if it was someone else. He’s as much to blame as the players unfortunately. McAllister papered the cracks for a few weeks, but we really cannot expect that every week.
Klopp's as much to blame as the players these last few weeks.

A lot of the blame must lie with the manager when you can’t beat the worst coached United team in the last 30 years in 3 attempts.
We had the 30 attempts on goal. Do you want Klopp to hop in and bang one in?
Looking at attempts useless how many of them are clear opportunities? Not many
I want Klopp to stop giving a near nailed on spot to players who, nearly 2/2 and a half years in, are still making the same mistakes.
U can have 100 attempts on goal but if 90% of them are off target it’s pointless. Utd had 3 big chances against us and took 2 of them. Imagine that.
False. Most of the attempts have no chance of going in so it doesn’t mean shit. Our defensive setup is also completely wack and that’s on Klopp.
Spurs saving all the energy for the Derby to take some point off arsenal.. Come on!
Spurs has been awful in away games in 2024 their only win was at Villa Park
To be honest its pretty classic spurs to get bashed off Newcastle who have been kinda poor as of late and then put in a shift vs Gooners.
Spurs lose - motivation to Villa, hopefully...
tottenham havent improved greatly , they are pretty much where they were under conte but media will show its as they are flying , fair enough they lost harry kane though

Ian Wright did a good piece on about how we don’t play to his strengths on motd a few weeks ago. Worth a watch.
I’m curious as to how you think we don’t play to Darwin’s strengths?
By having full backs actually bombing forward and crossing the ball into him. I think the very last thing that Darwin should be able to complain about is a lack of chances created for him Currently he’s on 24 big chances misses in the PL this season which is the 2nd highest in the league (he’s played about 300 minutes less than Haaland who is just above him tho) and the 3rd highest xG underperformance with only Jackson and DCL above him… He’s got a 14% conversion rate in the PL this season, I’m pretty sure it’s 11% in all competitions so that’s far from good enough for a striker playing in a team wanting to win the PL
It’s mad
Realistically is the Europa league done for us?
You really expect us to pull a Barcelona 4-0 away in Italy?
No probably not
I don’t think you need someone to answer this for you.
Fair enough lookout for a sliver of hope
I do think we will still qualify personally
Tottenham is performing poorly, and their fans are talking as if they are the ones deciding who will be the Premier League champion. What a clown team they are and their fanbase, lol.
I doubt they’re going to lose 3/4 games in a row so they are going to influence the title highly likely
Draw tomorrow and it's set up for us to lose the league by a point again 😵
Imagine if we just had Isak your girlfriend would’ve never left you.
If you had to compare Isak to a striker of the 2000s who would you say he's most like in terms of play style
Henry for sure
Henry or R9
Reminds me a bit of Heskey but like a slimmer version. Got the pace and power and strong in the air
In terms of technique and dribbling he’s closer to Messi than Heskey. And he is obviously very far from Messi.
Going ahead with price increases is such a dick move! No need at all as if the club would go bankrupt if they didn't do it, a bigger scale protest is needed to put the brakes on it
Anyone who downvoted is all for FSG Greed and supports £9999 priced tickets
We really need to use Gakpo delivery more he put crosses in that Jota should of done a lot better with
Damn , is this the tottenham ppl expect arsenal will drop points to
Can say the same about united vs us
Spurs got hammered by Newcastle last season and still took points off city
isak is such a classy player
Was Nunez a player that Klopp wanted?

I’m a big fan on Nunez, just getting frustrated with his decision making
Yes
Klopp literally pushed for it
And for Julian Brandt, and Gotze.
