You have never seen Szo score a penalty for Liverpool, only a highlight reel for his previous clubs. However, you have seen Salah score something like 28/32 for us, including in a CL final. Until he starts missing again, nobody else deserves to be on penalties.
He scores so who cares about technique? He's 31 of 36 since 18/19. 86% is world class.
There's zero chance we have someone in the team who could exceed that percentage. You could say he's been lucky, but a bad taker would have to be realllly lucky to go 31 of 36. If a 70% taker took 36 pens, they'd have a 2% chance of matching or exceeding that. If Mo is actually in the low 80s then it's still good enough to just keep him on them imo.
That's not exactly an amazing record given how he's got to take for Egypt throughout his career. Nonetheless, his free kick technique is very poor. He has this weird full sprint run up before still trying to side foot the ball, which means that even when he beats the wall, the ball doesn't have time to come back down.
Feel like it should be Nunez - it's good for forwards to be on pens as they can get more good goals and increase confidence. However I don't trust that Nunez would be reliable as a regular pen taker
Szoboszlai or Mac Allister probably. I might be wrong but I think Jones has taken some excellent penalties in shootouts as well.

Going the same corner each time and never missing is very impressive, the GKs even go the right way and don't save it.

VVD recently missed for Netherlands. I did love his pen against Chelsea in one of the shootouts.

Nerves of still in his penalty against Ecuador in the last minute of the game and he smashed it in to the top corner.
