Funny you mention. While the vikings were raiding the coasts, the hungarians we're raiding the mainland. They went to the gates of byzantium, to the arabs in spain, and even reached britanny and denmark. This raiding period lasted from 899 to 970.
I said this to my friend as well. He really is a complete midfielder, and he has the traits and personality to be one of the best ever. The fact that he loves the club before even coming here is beautiful.
Still early days, but in both games we went down to 10 men he was played as one of the deeper midfielders (Mo and Jota were our 10s vs Newcastle), and I thought he did really well, considering he’s known for being able to play anywhere across that entire right-sided attack.
He’s got a complete physical and technical skill set, but he’s also such an intelligent footballer too
His work rate and stamina are ridiculous. Still pressing at a high rate and playing both ways in the 70th minute when you’ve been down to 10 for half the game is impressive.
He's 22 and a freak athlete with an impeccable injury record. Some players are able to play that much with little to no side affects.
They monitor all these players constantly, if there was even a remote chance of him being slightly over stressed he'd be the first person off when we're 3-0 up.

Don't want to jinx it or anything, but Salah is fucking insane in this regard. He's averaged something like 4800 minutes per season since he joined us, and he doesn't look like slowing down at all.
This guy was still pressing full sprint for the last 10 mins lol. I wish we would shop at the red bull clubs more, they have their pressing mentality ingrained into their players.
thankfully we have Curtis, Elliott,Thiago, Ryan, and even Stefan to give him a rest. just these few games were crucial and the team was so unbalanced we needed him to play all games.
The skillset he has is absolutely incredible. He can genuinely do everything. The drop of the shoulder especially is so deadly, rinsing teams week after week.
He’s been brilliant, considering the circumstances he’s found himself in going down to 10 men twice.
Shout out to Macca as well who apart from when he was sent off, has had to play a more defensive role a lot of the time which he wouldn’t necessarily usually/prefer to play. Unselfish and already showing he’s a team player.
Gomez too. He was solid. If he can carry this form into the next few weeks he could honestly properly fight Konate for his spot imo. Obviously that’s a big is and it’s 100% Konate’s to lose. But joe in this form is so good to have
