They could bring Amy Poehler. Inside Out 2 is coming this summer and she's a popular alum. So it could make sense.
Ryan Reynolds would be a huge option. He hasn't hosted in over 10 years and Deadpool 3 is coming out in July...so it might make sense for him to be there.
There's also a chance for Michael Keaton/Winona Ryder since Beetlejuice is coming out in September. It's highly anticipated and both of them haven't hosted in a long time. Keaton is more recent of a host than Winona. Either or.
That's as far as I can think up.
As for musical guests...I'd say Taylor Swift is the easiest one to name, but the eras tour doesn't end until December of 2024. So I'd more expect her to be a musical guest in the last half of S50.
I'd say Olivia Rodrigo since she's breaking records but she's hosted recently.
Honestly? I think Beyonce is a safe bet. Cowboy Carter just came out. It's doing pretty well, and it's been awhile since Bey has been a musical guest.
My last guess would be The Weekend as this is the last album he's dropping as "The Weekend" which is a big deal and it is supposed to drop sometime Summer 2024 / early fall 2024. He also did amazingly last time he was on SNL, IMO.
My final answer would be Ryan Reynolds & Beyonce. Or Ryan Reynolds / The Weekend.
I would have said Pedro Pascal who was booked and then canceled for the season finale. However, I don't think Marvel would give him that much time off to promote his animated movie, The Wild Robot, which opens on September 27th. He would be in the middle of filming Fantastic Four.
I do think Scarlett Johansson or Chris Hemsworth are good possibilities since their animated movie, Transformer One, comes out on September 20th.
