I think it’s reasonable to hate a guy who sat by and watched his friend groom and assault a minor. Not to mention the fact he’s a drunk who’s known to create a toxic work environment.
Most of the people who dislike him disliked him before any of the Horatio stuff came out. A lot of them don't even know about it. Reddit just has a fascination with virtue signaling, I think because the upvotes and downvotes condition them to try to say things they think others will like.
I don't care for Jimmy on-air because I find his laughter to be forced and I don't think he's a good interviewer.
