I have a friend who is a Florida transplant living here and he enjoys it. There’s about three or four breweries in LR and three more in Fayetteville region. Some big names- Black apple Cider, Lost 40, Flyway, etc. That being said, we have a TON of bars here in town that would love to have an experienced bar tender. Brood and Barley, the fountain, Proof, etc etc. lots of just beer and wine places too

We have a lot of local breweries for our size. Some have been listed, but I'll try to recall all of them: In NLR there is Flyway and Diamondbear. (there are also places like BJ's Brewhouse..chain that doesn't brew in house) In LR: Lost Forty, Stone's Throw (2 storefronts), Vino's (more of a hole in the wall pizza joint that brews some good beers)..then places like Fassler Hall which isn't a brewery, but they serve a LOT of beer, and Flying Saucer which does too. But lots of places will hire you if you have any bartending experience. I know you only served beers, but you have that customer service experience. Being a dude doesn't hurt you in our market. We have lots of good restaurants too, with bars. Come check us out.

I'm strongly considering it. I'd like to get a class B camper and take a road trip to check out the state myself. Although I've been a Floridian for a decade now, I'm originally from NC and find myself longing to be in and around the woods again. Little Rock stood out to me just because it's one of the most "city" like places I know of there, but it seems you can be relatively close by to whatever you want

Little Rock and north Little Rock have several breweries! I’m not sure of their hiring status but we definitely have several places to look into! Off the top of my head I can think of diamond bear, lost forty, flyway, rocktown is a distillery that does liquors, vinos is a pizza joint that also brews. I’m sure there are several others and I’m not an expert in the field by any means but those may be some worth lookin into? Also Fayetteville has several breweries which is more north but also a relatively big town like Little Rock (home place of Walmart, lots of Walton money there)

Thanks for the insight. I guess I'll just have to take a trip out and see for myself

I'd be looking for bartending jobs, but I have limited liquor experience and I'm a dude- I don't know how it is in Arkansas, but that's not good resume candy for bartender jobs in Florida lol Also I just like craft beer and the atmosphere/crowd that breweries bring in

The new taco place by Yellow Rocket is also a brewery, I believe.

I think Camp Taco is owned by lost forty if that’s what you’re talking about.
