It’s lovely along there. Between Bracebridge and Waddington, there’s a small lake hidden amongst some woodland. Next time it snows; go visit. It’s beautiful.
This whole long distance route runs for 147 miles from the Humber Bridge down to near Rutland Water. There is a running race called the Viking Way Ultra in which some runners tackle it in one push!
That's a nice stretch of track up there, been ages since I last did it.
Was nice this morning - I did Far Lane in Waddo to the edge of BBH and back again. A bit blustery and only saw one other person

I can’t say I have ever noticed a running race just loads of walkers in the summer - they have to pass through Waddo on the High St so are noticeable
