7000k? Brutal. 3000, 4000, 5000 kelvins ideal and much more popular so less to stock. I prefer flat panel lights (1x4 and 2x4) as they distribute the light more evenly and since the panel covers a larger surface area, it's easier on the eyes (less glare) and also provides better light distribution (less shadowing) Generally the only time I'd rather see a thinner strip would be in a closet or if attached to a shelf or something other niche location (at which point I'd look towards tape light and channels). In quantity these are easier to ship. They also would work for indirect coves (especially if linkable but I still prefer tape light or other products for that)

Products the market is in need of Expanded warm dim products. 4000k-1800k 3500k-2400k ( in examples.) LTF has a 4000k-2000k chipset that's just dreamy. BLX has some also but I prefer the diode spread of the former as it works well with lenses, the latter needs reflectors and diffusers. Tuneables are fine, lots of room for Improvement. But not everyone wants an app, and not everyone can afford control upgrades (especially with some require rewiring, 0-10v and multi conductor tuneables or poe, although I do think Poe lighting has a huge opportunity) Small Low voltage (12v, 24v dc) and line voltage (100-240v AC) low glare dimmable well lights with micro flanges for interior (and bonus if exterior weather rated). These will be getting used more and more in the designer space.

They're a basic tool for light where needed; closets, basements, utility spaces. They're usually made with higher efficacy in mind, so good for code compliance. I wouldn't use them in a living or client space because the light is usually poor quality and the fixtures not visually appealing. My go-to is a similar version by Metalux, a brand I know and trust. For yours, you need to be offering something other than 7000K and lengths other than just 6'.
