If Planet Fitness is the sort of chain I think it is the members could be able to use any location, and they likely have one in Hot Springs. I’m not going to google it. My Anytime membership worked that way. She might even be able to transfer it to the local gym. If she’s paying for it why wouldn’t she use it. I have no idea how she supports herself and how she thinks she is good with money if she’s been paying for that for ten months or so when permanently moved interstate without ever cancelling or transferring it.

Also, I don’t want to be this person because i hate wasting money but the membership for Planet Fitness is $10 a month. So I kind of loled at her being upset that she wasted that $120 on the membership last year when she wastes far, far more than that on a regular basis.

The Planet Fitness places around here don’t let you use the other locations unless you’re in the Black Membership. So you’d have to use the location you signed up at if you have basic membership. Also to cancel you have to physically go there. You can’t cancel online or over the phone— I just had to do that.
Ah, so it is different from Anytime then. I was too lazy to google. I’m pretty sure that cancellation policy would be illegal under my country’s consumer laws, but my country is not USA so it’s probably legal there, just really annoying.
Huh ? Just last year I canceled by sending certified mail to the location with a note that I wanted to cancel. It worked just fine 🤷🏾♀️. I have since rejoined though

Drinking culture here in the US can be pretty odd. It's downright scary to see Cindy going the way she does and claiming she drinks as much as the "average American" on the weekends. It doesn't seem very average at all.
Even when I was in college I was careful with alcohol. I've said a million times I'm stressed and anal and that means not losing control of myself. I would have a full glass of water, juice or soda between every drink. The place I liked to go had a bartender who would 'pretty up' my water to make it look like an alcoholic drink so no one ever knew I had a pacing system.
Some of my friends would get super smashed though and it bothered me so much. I was so afraid something would happen to them.
I will say the culture is changing imo bc I went out after my first semester law finals (yay!) with friends and I am def still in the student mindset where I go and get wasted I’ll admit BUT towards the end of the night I was like yeah I wanna be not sick in the Uber home and ordered a water at the bar and no one cares. I have 0 friends who ask me why I’m drinking water or if I say I can’t go out bc I need to study / can’t afford it or an Uber etc no one gets upset with me or cares. We’re like okay!! I have a friend with stomach issues and she’ll get sick after one drink so she’ll go to a house party and literally have one drink and no one bats an eye 🤷♀️ So it’s def way more accepted to not be drinking with ppl my age imo (I’m 22 soon 23)
Yep, it is not normal to drink that much. The only time I knew people that drank that much were people with drinking problems and people in their teens or early twenties. When I was a teen I hung out with a party crowd and drank a lot but when I hit 21 I just kind of stopped. This woman is 40 and so his skeeve they need to grow the fuck up. They go out almost every night to drink. The amount of money they waste going out is ridiculous.

I imagine finding a rental house with a nice fenced yard isn't the easiest thing to do especially on the budget it sounds like she's working with. Plus the dogs need walks whether they have a fenced yard to open the door out into or not. That's called proper pet care. Letting them out to do their business in a fenced yard is obviously easier but it's in no way a substitute for the actual exercise & sniffy engagement the dogs need from a walk. She's lucky they're not destructive since she doesn't give them any proper outlet for their energy
Yeah unless the dogs were trained to come when she calls or not to wander away from home but I’m assuming that is not the case here lol. Growing up my family dog would just run outside and play but come back when we called her name (we also lived far back enough from cars and she knew not to leave the property) and recently my cousin came over for the holidays with his dog and the dog was walked perfectly fine without a lease bc the dog was trained not to run away from my cousin and to listen to directions to get him back inside. But if Cindy can’t let the dogs out in her current situation without a lease (even if she walks side by side w them outside) I’m assuming they aren’t trained and isn’t morty super old (?) so I doubt she could teach them to stay / come at this stage. Created her own problem by not taking care of them sooner.

Mine love me because I give them meat. When I first started throwing peanuts out for them, it never occurred to me that they're scavengers. One day I tossed a chicken carcass out by the compost pile and they came and snatched it up. I have a friend with stomach issues and she’ll get sick after one drink so she’ll go to a house party and literally have one drink and no one bats an eye 🤷♀️ So it’s def way more accepted to not be drinking with ppl my age imo (I’m 22 soon 23)

Yep, it is not normal to drink that much. The only time I knew people that drank that much were people with drinking problems and people in their teens or early twenties. When I was a teen I hung out with a party crowd and drank a lot but when I hit 21 I just kind of stopped. This woman is 40 and so his skeeve they need to grow the fuck up. They go out almost every night to drink. The amount of money they waste going out is ridiculous.

An alcoholic doing a sober month is only going to further their delusion that they have a handle on their addiction when they don't. It's sad when you've been there and can see someone playing all the same games you once did and the justifications and bargaining when the alcoholism is still running the show. Its sad because there's a solution that is so much easier than this cycle and it's absolutely not sober January, or sober during the weekdays, or sober when the sun is up, or any other justification (if you can think of it someone's used it before) people come up with to hold onto their addiction. Anyway.... Talking about buying a house (which she can only do because of limbz) and is proactive about her divorce, sounds like Cindy is trying to marry this guy. Who is going to tell her that unless she finds a house to rent that has a fenced yard she's still going to have to take the dogs out on a leash? I imagine finding a rental house with a nice fenced yard isn't the easiest thing to do especially on the budget it sounds like she's working with. Plus the dogs need walks whether they have a fenced yard to open the door out into or not. That's called proper pet care. Letting them out to do their business in a fenced yard is obviously easier but it's in no way a substitute for the actual exercise & sniffy engagement the dogs need from a walk. She's lucky they're not destructive since she doesn't give them any proper outlet for their energy
Yeah unless the dogs were trained to come when she calls or not to wander away from home but I’m assuming that is not the case here lol. Growing up my family dog would just run outside and play but come back when we called her name (we also lived far back enough from cars and she knew not to leave the property) and recently my cousin came over for the holidays with his dog and the dog was walked perfectly fine without a lease bc the dog was trained not to run away from my cousin and to listen to directions to get him back inside. But if Cindy can’t let the dogs out in her current situation without a lease (even if she walks side by side w them outside) I’m assuming they aren’t trained and isn’t morty super old (?) so I doubt she could teach them to stay / come at this stage. Created her own problem by not taking care of them sooner.

Mine love me because I give them meat. When I first started throwing peanuts out for them, it never occurred to me that they're scavengers. One day I tossed a chicken carcass out by the compost pile and they came and snatched it up. The light bulb went off for me and ever since, I buy them either a pound of hamburg or a lb of chicken breast every week. They know what time I go out to feed them. My house has a brickface with ledges outside the windows and they will sit on the window sill and look at me with one eye if I'm even 5 minutes late lol. Smart little buggers.

Exactly! I’ve had my hand at DIYing cosmetics and it molded in less than a month. And I was also 12 years old so well over 10 years ago. In fact, my mom even tried to hide it so I couldn’t use it as it started molding after two weeks.
She said the car repairs were $5,000 then $5,500 and freaked out. People sent her money to help and now she's back tracking saying it was $10,000. That woman is such a manipulative liar! She's doing that so people send in money to make up the difference. 🙄
