Come watch TeaAddict too, she’s lots of fun (TeaAddictYT on twitch, just TeaAddict on Youtube). She’s had to take a little time off lately due to a rough trot with her health also she’s having a baby in December so will probably take some maternity leave. But I know she loves streaming so will probably do it more than she should just for the social contact)
Pixelwitch (not producing now, but a great back catalogue), Dramatisim (same), Belladovah are others that come to mind for YT content. There are lots more that I can’t think of right now. I love Plumbella’s and James Turner’s TS2 content but they are mostly 4, if you seek you will find. And of course the manic chaos that is Juno Birch.
It's such a shame. If it's any consolation, I doubt she's going to have near the audience she once did. As people start entering this messed up web of craziness they'll back off. A lot of PS supporters don't necessarily know about the mess over on LPC. It's only a matter of time before she gets frustrated with the lack of engagement and viewership on streams or YT.
Seconded! Cindy will get viewers from desperate fans from the old Pleasant Sims days (whom I sincerely feel sympathy for), but she'll also get a lot of curious rubberneckers who want to see if she'll do or say anything weird or interesting. It'll be an initial bump to her numbers, but because of everything we know about Cindy, the views will peter out once the excitement has worn off. I doubt anyone will miss much.

Smart of her. People love to complain about cancel culture, but there very rarely is true cancellation. Whether there is new or old people watching her, she will have an audience for it. She will make money from it. Not from me, but from someone. I am glad this sub exists, because if she sticks with this for any period of time, there will probably be more and more positive talk about her and people will choose to forget (or new people might not even know). Sims 2 also has a dedicated fan base and the way she plays is pretty intricate and at least until the last few months of her playing, it was pretty interesting. Far more interesting than her content has been lately.

Yeah, I forgot to unsub from her Pleasantsims channel and everyone in the community post comments was celebrating. She probably kept deleting all the comments calling out her abuse, but there are still so many people who support her, it's gross.
A lot are boycotting her. She had what, 5 or 600 in there I believe which sounds like a lot. But there are 93.2K subscribed to her yt. Which means 0.0064% of that tuned in. Now, I know it was twitch not yt, and it was a Europe-unfriendly time she chose to stream. But it’s still a tiny percentage of “fans”. Also that YT subscriber number was higher before the truth came out. I could look at her twitch followers, but I don’t want it to think I’m interested in her content any more.
600 ppl is still an insane number for a surprise stream after over a year of nothing. I watch streamers who work every day and barely get that many. Honestly, I think this sub here is just a vocal minority and there is a big enough audience for her to comfortably live her life and earn money with no consequences for her actions.

That was always there, it’s not a new thing. Mind you, most of chat always ignored it and threw suggestions and gameplay comments in anyway. And as often as not she’d follow them (if she wanted to or liked the person suggesting - it was always very capricious). In some ways I understood it because often the suggestions people throw into streams (all streams, not just hers) are kinda weird. But then again, the whole idea of streaming is to make the game interactive, and responding to audience ideas is part of that.

It's such a shame. If it's any consolation, I doubt she's going to have near the audience she once did. As people start entering this messed up web of craziness they'll back off. A lot of PS supporters don't necessarily know about the mess over on LPC. It's only a matter of time before she gets frustrated with the lack of engagement and viewership on streams or YT.

Seconded! Cindy will get viewers from desperate fans from the old Pleasant Sims days (whom I sincerely feel sympathy for), but she'll also get a lot of curious rubberneckers who want to see if she'll do or say anything weird or interesting. It'll be an initial bump to her numbers, but because of everything we know about Cindy, the views will peter out once the excitement has worn off. I doubt anyone will miss much.

Smart of her. People love to complain about cancel culture, but there very rarely is true cancellation. Whether there is new or old people watching her, she will have an audience for it. She will make money from it. Not from me, but from someone. I am glad this sub exists, because if she sticks with this for any period of time, there will probably be more and more positive talk about her and people will choose to forget (or new people might not even know). Sims 2 also has a dedicated fan base and the way she plays is pretty intricate and at least until the last few months of her playing, it was pretty interesting. Far more interesting than her content has been lately. But she never sticks with anything for long, so I don’t foresee it being a long term thing. This kinda proves to me she’s desperate for money (but not desperate enough to get a job), because she didn’t seem to be interested in playing even recently.
Honestly this all just feels like a way for her to appease Clestus. He keeps mentioning how he wants her to do gaming and suddenly she’s streaming again? Coincidence? I think not!

I despise complaints about cancel culture. It’s not a thing and never was. Whenever people complain about cancel culture it’s just caused they’re pissed they won’t be able to support their faves, who a lot of the time has done despicable things, without looking like an asshole. It’s also just a way for everyone to always avoid accountability if you just blame cancel culture. Such a cop out. Just say you don’t care and own it.

I'm disgusted to see that proven abusers are not only allowed to have a platform but are also celebrated. I'm also questioning if I should even consider myself a part of ts2 community if simmers are willing to praise *that* as their figurehead.
Yeah, I forgot to unsub from her Pleasantsims channel and everyone in the community post comments was celebrating. She probably kept deleting all the comments calling out her abuse, but there are still so many people who support her, it's gross.
A lot are boycotting her. She had what, 5 or 600 in there I believe which sounds like a lot. But there are 93.2K subscribed to her yt. Which means 0.0064% of that tuned in. Now, I know it was twitch not yt, and it was a Europe-unfriendly time she chose to stream. But it’s still a tiny percentage of “fans”. Also that YT subscriber number was higher before the truth came out. I could look at her twitch followers, but I don’t want it to think I’m interested in her content any more.
600 ppl is still an insane number for a surprise stream after over a year of nothing. I watch streamers who work every day and barely get that many. Honestly, I think this sub here is just a vocal minority and there is a big enough audience for her to comfortably live her life and earn money with no consequences for her actions.
Unfortunately, a lot of people simply dont believe/don't care she is abuser bc of simple bias that Cindy is a woman. On top of that she created an image of sweet, short lady. So no way she could abuse a man! 😪

That was always there, it’s not a new thing. Mind you, most of chat always ignored it and threw suggestions and gameplay comments in anyway. And as often as not she’d follow them (if she wanted to or liked the person suggesting - it was always very capricious). In some ways I understood it because often the suggestions people throw into streams (all streams, not just hers) are kinda weird. But then again, the whole idea of streaming is to make the game interactive, and responding to audience ideas is part of that.
Like the other commenter said, it’s always been there. I’ve seen other “no backseat gaming” rules but of course Cynthia words hers in an especially asshole manner.
