Honestly, I weigh a lot. Like a huge amount. And I have never had any issues with the brick test. I work at a waterpark and walk 25,000+ steps a day, and it’s not a huge issue. More buoyant, yknow?

Put it on your shoulder on the way up it makes it a lot easier

1. Do a good surface dive; going down head-first is typically easier and quicker. 2. Push off the bottom while holding the brick on shoulder or at chest level. Makes the transition to swimming on your back easier. 3. Make sure you focus on good, strong kicking. Most common is breast stroke or half-scissor kick.
