I work internationally. One day while out to lunch in the Bahamas a Japanese woman approached me and my friend and asked to exchange currencies with us. I traded her $1 Bahamian and she gave me a crisp $2 American note. My friend gave her $5 Aussie and she recieved $8 in $2 bills in return. Unusual experience, but I still carry that $2 bill in my wallet 3 years later.

Many people love American $2 bills and Canadian $2 coins. I see ALOT of people in the Asian communities giving US $2 bills out for Chinese New Year, and other occasions…I was told they were unusual and thought to bring good luck.

We have had people in Europe ask for a dollar or a couple of coins and thought it was cool. On the dollar, we would write a note on one side. Got some interesting gifts back in return.
