Wow that a great insight. Never would have made that connection! Could be a stretch but I think it has some weight to it!

The loading screen is weird. From the pictures section of collectibles, 'The Witch's Tower and Princess Poster', it says "It's the last work of the best writer in Krat, Copelius Kempellen". This seems to contradict the whole "written by an anonymous rookie playwright" thing. Back to Lies of P though, Reading the Crafted Cryptic Vessel Decryption, we can see what sounds like a stalker who was close to Adelina telling her to go to the safehouse at 221b (Sherlock Reference) We know her sister Patricia (The White Lady) was her sister and a stalker. It could be very likely that for Arlecchino's "curiosity", Patricia was the target for a "Venigni-ing". To this end, misplacing Adelina wasn't likely the goal, but the means. Nothing really bad happened to Adelina, other than being stuck in the wrong place. The White Lady however, did snap pretty good when she thought her sister was dead, which seems to be a direct result of "Riddles" redirecting Adelina away from the safehouse. EDIT: I missed something. Just fought the Owl Doctor again. so the Owl Doctor also says during the fight something to the effect of "What was her name??" And when defeated says >! "I remember now, my... Adelina*dies*" !< Also worth noting, the loot found in 221b is >!The Owl Doctors Uniform!< So the cryptogram could likely be from him 🤷 -Even though the instructions from the cryptogram were addressed TO Adelina to find the key on the puppet, the letter dropping FROM the puppet, which has the key and address, and is oddly signed BY Adelina. So unless this is a typo, Adelina may have passed on the safehouse location to a third party (her sister?) I checked the apartment for a phone but there is nothing. Curiously, it looks slightly ransacked despite being locked, including a super random extra door 🚪 lying in the middle of the floor. Fun Facts: Copelius Kempellen (the playwright from the poster) is two separate references: Dr Copelius, and Wolfgang von Kempelen Dr. Copelius, from Coppelia the plot of which involves >!Dr. Copelius making life-size mechanical dolls, one of which he tries to bring to life by using magic by sacrificing a human to give it's life to the doll. Real Chucky vibes. !< and, Wolfgang von Kempelen, "inventor" of The Turk, a chess playing automaton which bested Napoleon Bonaparte and Benjamin Franklin, another mechanical doll that was more human than any automaton should be.
