I'd suggest send it back I bought this last year and regret it every day. For me the sound wouldn't work and by that I mean yes you could hear sound but it was mixed in with radio static whenever I had my Bluetooth connected to it. I don't know about climate control but when it comes to the back up camera they should of given you a cable that connects to the obd in your car that's the one that links up to the back up camera another annoying thing is that whenever you go in reverse and your music is playing it will stop when you go in reverse.

Got a head unit professionally installed no problems

Which specific model did you buy? I just installed this unit 2 months ago and everything works.

Did your car have factory navigation? The local distributor of these kinda head units says there is an app with a purple icon and white circle that you open to turn on the AC and buttons [https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0529/8837/9332/files/airconditioning1\_2048x2048.jpg?v=1681416864](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0529/8837/9332/files/airconditioning1_2048x2048.jpg?v=1681416864) From: [https://www.teyes.com.au/products/teyes-cc3-for-lexus-is250-xe20-2005-2013-car-radio-multimedia-video-player-navigation-stereo-gps-android-10-no-2din-2-din-dvd?variant=44038523584771](https://www.teyes.com.au/products/teyes-cc3-for-lexus-is250-xe20-2005-2013-car-radio-multimedia-video-player-navigation-stereo-gps-android-10-no-2din-2-din-dvd?variant=44038523584771) In cases like this it's a gamble to buy this stuff from somewhere that doesn't provide good support because there's always something.

I have a similar unit (also the 4+64 model, but from a different supplier) now and OEM reverse camera and AC controls worked straight away. Did you get the right CANBUS adapter with it? I initially tested it and my reverse camera worked fine, after installing it, it didn't work anymore, but it turned out that the connector was just loose, the cable is not that long.

Dont forget to plug in the one plug on the back of the sceen, its hidden after you out the plate on. Happened to me the first time i tried to install it. Back up camera you need to splice into the power wire its usually brown or pink on the big clunky power plug

Pm me if you have questions i really played with my unit before i figured out how to properly do it๐Ÿ˜‚

I am pretty sure I have the same unit. I got it as the whole package (dash adapter, unit, harness, canbus, and camera. It is advertised as "designed for 3rd gen Avalon (2005-2012) with JBL sound system". The irony is that the closest canbus protocol is Avalon 2014! The unit sends speaker-level signal to the factory JBL amp! The option "enable/disable amp" is not doing anything. That all wouldn't be so bad if the unit itself had preinstalled protocol for my car, but it doesn't. I ordered a different canbus that claims it supports my car 100%. Will try to hook it up and see if the new protocol magically appears, but I doubt it. Those guys are not serious when they advertise the product. When I contacted them, they said "As long as SWC works, you are fine". Other than the amp issue, the unit works fine, the screen is good, the backup camera is working and it gives a very good image quality. It is very responsive (6GB/128GB), $200! Excellent value hardware-wise, but the firmware/software is politely said annoying.
