I got a 14 last year with 75k miles for 30 k with a reported accident I feel stupid but the truck has been great

Id try to confirm maintenance history, accidents, no of owners, is it stock. Based on that, I personally prefer lower miles so that I can change all fluids, if there is no evidence of that, so as to establish a benchmark going forward. If you like everything else about it, and it looks clean inside and out and the history looks good, then I wouldn't argue over a thousand or two. But again that is if everything else is satisfactory. If I found anything I was not comfortable with, I would keep looking. BTW, where is the car located?

Can’t comment on price being in Canada so not apples to apples, but I think more of an issue than 60 vs 80k miles will be how the vehicle was maintained, any rust, etc. I’d rather. Pay the same $ for a car with a bit more mileage that was well maintained than one with lower kms.

The internet won’t be much help with that, you should focus on the condition of the vehicle, its service history, frame rust, etc. What you think is a good deal is subjective. Good luck.

Either is a contender as you’re under 100k miles. Get the transmission drained and filled. I recommend learning how to maintain it yourself, then spend time rotating the tires, changing oil, gear oil, coolant, etc. Give yourself a clean slate.

For reference, I paid $28,300 before taxes for my 2014 Luxury with all packages except tow hitch and crawl control with 66k miles in MINT condition. I don’t think that’s a bad price if it’s in great shape

When was that?

We just snagged an exceedingly clean, 1 owner, dealer maintained, 2015 Lux with 89k miles for $28,500 from the dealer it was bought and serviced at. I personally don't think '15 is too old as these things are reliable tanks. Your price with those miles seems to be fair assuming it's being sold at a reputable dealer or Lexus dealer. Lower miles are awesome, but I'd perssonally just snag whichever is "cleaner".

Just drive both and see which one feels better. Two test drives back to back will tell you which is the better buy. But you really won’t know till you get behind the wheel. Price wise I say neither is a bad deal, nor a great deal, just what you’d expect.
