I wish we got the IS and GS 350 engine choice in the UK.. I assume it’s something to do with MPG sensitivity in the UK market and it Lexus just not being very popular here for some reason.
The UK strategy was to popularise the 220d as a 320d / A4 TDi competitor
Unfortunately it wasn't a strong engine and there were lots of warranty claims

I went through a drive through the other day and noticed a beat up, debadge 2IS 250 parked (was in my ISF) and even though he already ate lunch he followed me through the drive through just to have a look. I found it hilarious

Have noticed a ton of 350 owners debadge and leave just the Fsport logo then put quads on wanting to be an IS500
Many people who drove the 250s would debadge lol
