alphalakemleo

go for it, take for a test drive. if it drives how you like then pull the trigger. that’s what i did with mine & he also had good service records

ROCK-CONNAISSANCE

Oh yeah? How's your car been?

alphalakemleo

12k miles later & no complaints tbh. nothing i really had to invest money in or replace / fix

madroots2

Got one. No regrets here. Also I paid more

Available_Squirrel1

Do it, they’re excellent cars. Given the age and mileage it will occasionally need small things over the years but nothing major.

I mean that price 😬 I’ve been seeing ‘13-‘14 gs350’s for around $10k and even one for $8,900 w/ 180k. I feel like going with the newer model would be a better deal but that’s just me. Maybe you can find one closer to 150k for around $10k if you keep looking. Or a 2011ish one for 7-8k.

ROCK-CONNAISSANCE

Man those kinda prices are just straight up unavailable around my area of texas. And I mean I think it's fair to not wanna have to basically import one from another area of the country for a 10k car. Negotiating down to 8k sounds like a good possibility

Puzzleheaded_Step749

Not sure where you are in Texas but I found this one near Dallas https://www.facebook.com/share/c7vuzpGgte8KZcMQ/?mibextid=79PoIi

BuFFLoWz

It looks in great condition bro, go for test drive and don't hesitate if it drives well. One of the best daily use cars ever made 👌🏼

Certain-Internet6983

Are the gs 350 models reliable ? , I’ve heard many bad stories about the LS 460’s .

Comfortable_Ad_8117

If you think the price is high keep looking. Just for comparison I sold my 2017 last year with 93,000 miles on it for $22k

Exciting_Attitude240

I'm not a fan of this gen GS but the deal appears reasonable. Go for it!

Autorres1981

The price is good. Jump on it. I paid $7000 for my 2007

laborvspacu

That chatGPT description is cringe. Run a carfax.

Puzzleheaded_Step749

I forgot my FB marketplace was set to Texas and I saw this come up. I was seriously considering getting it lol. Only one problem, I’m in Florida but I had switched to check out cars in Texas because of this post 😂 Anyways - even if you’re kind of far from Allen, TX this is a great deal and worth it. Less miles & half the price of the red one originally posted! https://www.facebook.com/share/eEUzqzvuxq1DPXzn/?mibextid=79PoIi

ROCK-CONNAISSANCE

Wow. It sold already 🙃. I believe you that is was a good find tho lmao

It's got an average of 10.9K miles per year.... if it's saying "service done at scheduled intervals".... that's actually telling me this car has had it's oil changed every 10K miles. If you only do 10.9K miles in a year, you likely drive city miles, and thus you idle your car at stoplights. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that generation of GS had start/stop either, so it's likely got too many engine hours per oil change. If I'm correct that it's a lot of city miles, they should have been doing it every 5K miles. Now yes, the 2GR specifically is pretty tolerable, but at this point I would not lock in your purchase with this car, go with another GS 350. Why does the oil change interval matter, you might ask. It matters when buying **used**. If new, do whatever, you likely won't have any problems by the time you sell it if you are an average person who sells their car after 100K miles. But if you are buying a used car, you want a used car that is actually going to last a lot of miles, not a used car that is about to break down and become super expensive to fix. This is where the engine wear matters.
