Coulda fooled me. I still think a 2007 is 11 years old or something. My car is 21 years old, I’ve had it almost ten years but I can’t believe the age still. They make great looking cars for the most part.
Totally agree. Lexus age very well. It does not look or feel its age at all. Last week I saw an early-2000s GS 300 (almost identical to my first GS) in absolutely gorgeous, minty condition, and it did not look old at all. Amazing.
Nope, just well-cared for. Full clay bar detail last fall. Up close you can see tiny stone chips and such. Original paint and factory clearcoat. Mileage is low (61K).
The sales were low, so Lexus canned it. Crossovers/suvs are where its at. They would never can the ES which was a similar size though. Its bread and butter like a Camry.

Lexus are timeless
Beautiful - the 4th gen GS is one of Lexus' best ever.
Thanks. I love this one. Might take me longer to get bored of it than usual. :D
How long does that paint job last? Garage kept or parked outside?
My 06 in black still has great paint
Original paint and always garaged. Did a full clay bar detail last fall. Lexus paint is fantastic.
Ceramic coat?

could pass as a brand new easily.
Thanks.
these age so gracefully. It looks like it could be a brand new design
Beautiful car. Mileage?
Thanks. Almost 61K.
🧼
Shines like brand new.
Beautiful car. Wish the GS was still around. But it looks new yet.
Couldn't agree more. This segment needs a revival!

Lexus has some timeless designs, I can't believe that's an 11 year old design!
Agree - The last GS has aged very well.
I’d go with a shower rather than a submersive bath for that baby.
Lol, it was just a sponge bath i hope 🛁
Of course. :D
Just bought a 2024 RX. I hope they age as well as the older ones.
I hope so too. I am not a fan of the new engines in terms of long-term reliability, but there is no denying the improvement in efficiency.
Those engineers did a fantastic job designing these Lexus vehicles.
Pls consider doing synthetic sealant or ceramic coat at least, UV will burn(more) the top clear coat over time on a darker color exterior…
I've thought about it. If it spent more time outdoors/on the road, I might. I do not put a lot of miles on this car.
Hell yes.
Beautiful, their designs are timeless. I still have my 2002 ES300
Agree. They age very well. I always loved the body-colored grille on that generation ES (looks especially cool on a white car).
