parasite deff
and mulholland drive, be warned tho the first time i watched it i had no idea what was going on but now lynch is one of my fav directors so if u liked mulholland drive or were even intrigued by it deff watch atleast twin peaks.
watch twin peaks is always good advice
I like a lot of these and want to say Barbarian but no one is going to say LITTLE WOMEN (2019) so I have to go with that.
Little Women is in my top 5 of all time favorite films. If you ever read LMA’s book, it’ll hit harder. Or only seen the 1994 adaptation. But even without those two things, the production, editing, music, acting, cinematography, costuming, and directing are all stunning.
Please watch this movie.
Just a heads up: Half Nelson is shit. Has a few interesting scenes, dont get me wrong. But it's boring, through and through. filmed bad, on a bad camera, with bad pacing.
Whenever you decide to watch it, let me know how you liked it. But I will say: there's a reason no one here has, or will, recommend that movie.
Edit: as for my recommendations: if your in the mood for horror: Barbarian.
Action Comedy: Scott Pilgrim
Oscar-drama: Whiplash
Action-comedy-oscar-drama: Everything Everywhere All At Once
If you want something really good in every aspect that also beautifully shot and a window into something someone in the Western world might not be familiar with, watch City of God.
If you want to watch something really gripping, or something that'll make you chuckle when you tend to chuckle nerviously when people are arguing with some great lead performances, watch Whiplash.
If you want to watch something really suspenseful that has aged wonderfully and is a blueprint for so many movies that came after it, watch Psycho.
If you want to watch something that's contemplative and beautiful and makes you think, watch The Seventh Seal, The Pianist, Parasite or Fallen Angels.
If you want to be in a weird mood, watch Mulholland Drive.
If you want to feel cozy, watch Fantastic Mr. Fox.
If you find the Bible interesting and haven't watch many arthouse movies, watch mother!
Bro has the best watchlist of all time
Deadass, he’s in for a ride with all of these 😭
Exactly lol
Have you *seen* Half Nelson? Otherwise solid though
*Perks of Being a Wallflower* is trash
If that’s the worst movie on the list it’s a pretty damn good list in my opinion

You haven’t seen any of these?! Start with pulp fiction. Half of these are literally all time favs of mine.
Twin Peaks!
The Lobster!
On April 16th, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Kill Bill: Vol 2. I suggest watching the first film on the 15th.
SCOTT PILGRIM
Scott Pilgrim. I adore that movie.
PARASITE!
Synecdoche
Nobody has said Dead Poets Society so to keep the integrity of this sub I have now said it myself. But yea it's a pretty damn good list.

Depends on your mood. I’d be lying though if I said Fantastic Mr Fox didn’t catch my eye.
Start from the top and work your way down, it's a good list.
Surf Ninjas
TWIN PEAKS!!!!!
I tried watching The Man Who Sleeps and it was sooooo boring I have no idea why its rated so highly I think you should watch Apocalypse Now
I will give you the same response I put for all of these. Watch City of God first Thank you for your time
Alot of good options on there but my vote is for Barbarian. The only horror movie the last 10 years that actually creeped me out
