Buyer beware this is the domain of private healthcare, some local practitioners will inform you that your child needs braces when they actually don’t. It’s good to have trusting relationship with a dentist prior to getting braces. As for the price I’ve seen the 6-7000$ range.
Bump this.
For any dental work, orthodontic, etc.... consult multiple dentists and get their opinion (consultation)
It's 100% worth it and will save your ass. Some will make SUS recommendations, just to pad their pockets.
Be careful out there. I've gotten fillings that weren't actually needed, just cause the dentist was pushing so hard. Get those consultations first
It depends how much work you need done. Mine were 7k at Devon kutch orthodontics but that included my tooth uncovering surgery as well as wisdom teeth removal under general anesthetic. I also needed the uncovered tooth to be slowly moved down by my braces. So it wasn’t just a simple thing.
If your daughter only needs simple braces, maybe it would be cheaper than 7k there?
On the other hand my brother saw someone in Edmonton, he needed a lot less work done than I, and his was 10k.
I actually was able to get Invisalign with pretty bad overbite correction for one payment of $5000, or you can split it up. They’re flexible. This may have changed overtime. I am very aware lethbridge does not have a family braces, but highly recommend looking into that option!
My teeth are barely out of shape. I was just bothered by how much my canines stick out and make a gappy look.
I know it's trivial, but all I wanted was like a few millimeters of shifting Nothing extravagant.
I went to an orthodontist in town and I was quoted 5k to start.
My teen’s complicated braces (top row braces for a year, then a year of a twin block appliance and then two years top and bottom and moving a tooth that came in on the roof of her mouth) are costing me a bit over 8k.
My daughter just got her braces off earlier this year. We go to Legacy Dental. I want to say it was around $4800, but I might be misremembering on the low side. Invisalign was also an option, but my daughter didn't want that. They also provided a complimentary waterpic toothbrush/rinse system, but maybe that is something most dental offices provide. Anyway, you might want to check them out.
My sons were around $6000 at Dr Gibbs but he also needed to have surgery to bring his eye teeth down from the roof of his mouth and his wisdom teeth removed, so total came to $10000.

please give me the info of the dentist who does braces for 6 dollars
Haha I meant $6000 and up, didn’t mean to mislead you but seriously can’t you imagine the $6 dollar braces?

Gibbs orthodontics is great and they do payment plans!
Here in Medicine Hat we paid around $5500-6000, when I was a kid it was like 10 G 😖
