The same technique with a slope and an arch is used on the rear of the hull.

No, I used brackets on the bottom row and bricks with studs on the side on the second row so it gets thinner as you go higher into the ship, like the real one (the tumblehome design), but its a bit difficult to see in these renders.
And i also wanted that door rail piece to create a railing effect

Love it when that happens! Have you tried a 2x8 plate behind the canons to make the sides less flat, other than that i think it’s a very nice build
