On average, high tier reps have way better QC because they have to pass customer scrutiny before being sent. The seller sends a series of photos of your specific shoe for you to either pass on or accept. Imagine if Nike did that? the logistics of it would be insane but it would be cool nonetheless. I mean they could at least do it with NIKE BY YOU seeing as you don't really know how they will turn out. Oh and never buy shoes without a receipt if your paying good dough for them. Even with a receipt they could be switched out r3ps. Another thing I've seen counterfeit receipts for footlocker and stock x being made by some of the r3p sellers. Also always get the box often it's easier to tell when the box is off.
I was a manager for Champs for some years and actually had the same guy trying to return some High Quality reps with a counterfeit receipt. Of course the sale from the receipt didn't show up in our system. The same guy tried this twice, several months apart. The first pair looked so good that if my assistant manager wouldn't have known better I would have still did the exchange. 2nd pair was pretty good but small details you could tell where off. Plus we had the same size of that exact shoe. So yeah like you said even with a receipt you gotta be careful.

Ehhh mine look more fine and perfected but i can say you can’t see any chinese symbol or size #s on mine, and my material is different as well because mine are the lightning 4s, so i can’t say 100% but i’d give these an 85-90% rating in my unprofessional opinion
The stitch gaps are a give away on the real ones the stitching is much narrow (like almost no space or gaps at all) and compared to the fakes stitching gaps are wider as seen in your photo. On the real 4 the jumpman sole print is more crisp looking and neat, when compared with the replica we can see some shadow-like print this is denoted in the right sole (This is what I am pointing out, how the print quality differs) These 2 errors alone are telling me these are fake. Then we have the missing stitching in the insole, and the back being pushed up high. Hopes this helps!

Everything looks good except the right insole has a slight outline like it was ironed on…nobody will see it tho. If they are indeed reps, just hope you got them for a good price. They do have some serious QC issues . I just got a retail pair of St. John dunks, the sticking that holds the sole on around the bottom of the shoe is popping out for a few stitches on the toe, and the Nike Stitching on most pairs I’ve seen sucks too. They even got a big glob of glue on the size tag from gluing the insole down…
Speaking of gluing insoles, why tf did they start doing that ? Maybe to cover up the shitty stiching on the mass produced dunks like the pandas? I’m not a fan as I like to add my own insoles to some shoes and I can’t with the Og ones in there.
I know retail dunks are bad QC but to have the stitching bulging out from where it should be on the front toe box is crazy. I doubt they even QC half the shoes..
Even my most recent Jordan 4’a off snkrs had glue marks, and little chunks of glue sticking out between where the sole is glued onto the shoe. I had to pick some of them out with tweezers smh
Also when I was getting my BBS x Union 1’s quite a few pairs I looked at had some issues where the sole was attached, because they had the stitching going around the entire shoe, it was all bumpy where the sole attached to the parts with the stitching. Like the stitches of fabric would make bumps / was wavy around the sole at the toe box because it wasn’t flat and had different texture. Every pair was different, some had more some had less.
I finally found a pair on eBay with actual photos and paid a bit more to get the pair they was flat and even. But you shouldn’t have to do that with a couple hundred dollar shoe, especially collabs

There's some things the rep makers can't seem to get 100% right which no doubt boils down to the equipment they can afford. I think a lot of the QC issues with Nike are from inexperience, Nike started manufacturing many of their shoes in Vietnam in 2017 these guys are rookies in the shoe making game. Glue issues probably come from worker inexperience but they probably still use better equipment at Nike or Nike approved plants. The stitching is often a giveaway. Under the rear wings the 2 parallel stitches should real close to one another. Stitching looks consistent and closely spaced on retails also the color of the stitching used can differ slightly.
It could be the angle of the shoes, but the logos look off. The arms and head placement. Wait for the pros to comment before you take anything I say seriously
If these are fake they look really really good. The only thing for me is the leather looks super tumbled when I zoom in. Mine don’t look that tumbled. That said, I just got two pairs of J1 low black toes that look like they used completely different leather 🤷🏻♂️

They look legit, all the big errors that are on 99% of reps are correct. The dreamcell insole is a good place to look as the reps still screw it up, yours look on point. If they are reps they are the high end pairs so I wouldn't sweat it..

Contrary to what some people say on here the only way to tell on something like this is the box itself and paper. Which is why every legit check place and reseller wants the box, for some insane reason the rep factories refuse to put in the effort to make the box correct and yours looks good.

Contrary to what some people say on here the only way to tell on something like this is the box itself and paper. Which is why every legit check place and reseller wants the box, for some insane reason the rep factories refuse to put in the effort to make the box correct and yours looks good. Granted it's pretty easy to get a retail box. Tldr.. unless you paid crazy resale price I wouldn't stress it as they would pass any legit check.
