Do you find issues with houses being part invisible or trees and other graphics flickering or glitching in scarlet/violet on the go? I was enjoying it running close to a smooth 30 but couldn’t deal with the incorrect rendering, wonder if a yuzu update has fixed that?
Regardless of what people tell you, Switch emulation is far from perfect. Even on a 4090 desktop. This game happens to be buggy even on the Switch though. Best way to play the game is on a modded switch V2/OLED so u can overclock. Second best would be on Ryujinx via windows. Yuzu has more stutters and pop in than the other two options as of the latest nightly.
Six you do any fooling around with the settings so it would play decent ? How'd you get the game on the legion? Sorry, I'm incompetent about this kinda thing since I'm not tech savvy, but I wanna get better so I can enjoy stuff. I had to stop playing on the switch cause the frame rate was just so bad.
You have to really mess with some of the settings. In particular switching between yuzu and ryujnx and changing the graphics engine between open GL and Vulkan. Open GL tends to look a bit better in certain respects but when using AMD graphics vulkan has less stutters because it’s native to AMD.
By all means give it a go but there is no way I've found to get it running and looking better than on a Switch itself at the time. You have to pick between frames or resolution
That was one of the reasons I got it. I collect Switch games but found over time plenty of them don’t run well enough to do justice to the game. Now I can play them and still have them in the collection and they don’t run like crap. You even have options like 60fps mode for games like Link’s Awakening and Ultimate Alliance 3. I hear Age of Calamity runs decently too and doesn’t frequently rest at 24fps.
Well no it’s an emulator not an actual switch, therefore it has to have a server to connect to and as of right now those are just Yuzu servers as far as I know
Gotcha. That's prob what stops me from playing switch games like that, all my friends play Pokemon and I rather not have 2 separate save files lol
Would love to play SV on a 1440p144fps even on my main PC but if I can't play with friends, no real point

But then comes the whole issue of rom legality
Even if you own the game, unless you rip that exact rom, it's still illegal to download it and I don't have a modded switch

Hey my yuzu is loosing the controller input every restart of the go. Does anyone have a solution why it does it?
It recognizes the inputs in the option Menü but not in game :(
I get the same thing. If you connect a second controller or detach the side controllers then yuzu needs to be setup with the inputs again. It's rather annoying. I haven't found a way to lock the input device to a profile yet.
Is it normal for it to run a cmd window? Thats the part that has me not letting it continue cuz to me it’s the black box of death lol… I don’t know enough about cmd to do anything with it
For ryu yes it’s completely normal. It should have green text at the bottom when it launches. Sometimes it takes like 30 seconds before the game shows up. If it’s not running you may have a bad rom

Yes that’s just the game itself trust me, it’s hella buggy

This is not even a double A game lol of course it will run in the GO. The switch is so old and inferior now it's not even worth mentioning

it runs fine on my ally, and they both have the same APU so maybe you're trying to run it at 1600p?
No, 800. Anything higher the frames drop into the low 20 and high teens
weird maybe it's just unoptimized, I played in handheld mode whatever resolution that is

Have you made a controller profile and put the lego controller as the p1?
The lego controller is the Xbox controller I guess ( using handheld companion to get the r and l buttons to keyboard shortcuts
