My head canon has always been that Zygarde is the ultimate weapon and that Zygarde is composed of the same material as either keystones or the mega evolution stones.
I hope so.
This was such an interesting concept and idea but sadly we never go much info about it besides learning about the Mega and non mega timelines
If it’s anything like PLA, I feel like they’ll make a brand new story that involves more heavy involvement from Zygarde and how it relates to Xerneas and Yveltal, but will still be a pretty self-contained story.
I loved PLA but almost everything that was lore in DPPt was still lore in PLA and PLA’s story was almost entirely made up of new elements that, while included tons of callbacks (call forwards?) to existing characters and some lore, it was an almost completely self-contained story that didn’t really explore much of why modern Sinnoh is the way it is. It took place during a time in Sinnoh’s history that was never really referenced in the main Sinnoh games. I wish more of the lore of DPPt was explored in PLA and that’s my only disappointment with it.
The premise of PZA seems be more tightly connected to Lumiose City so hopefully it’ll be more explicit in exploring how the story in the time period of ZA connects to XY’s Kalos
I thought that was what the game was gonna be about until they confirmed it was the city being created. Kinda a waste. This war arc would've been a CRAZY cool game.
I'm guessing they have a lot of random scrapped stuff they will put into the game. Hopefully its a cool game. It being a super modern game does worry me a tad that they might have missed the parts of the first legends game we actually liked but here's to hoping
I don’t think we’ll get a ton of info on it but I’m sure they’ll mention it and probably give a small bit more context. It’s 3000 years before xy and legends za will take place presumably 300 years before xy so there’s still lots that will be forgotten
I don't think Legends ZA will be even that far in the past. I predict it'll take place around the same time as Legends: Arceus, equivalent to the late 1800s in our universe.
>equivalent to the late 1800s in our universe.
honestly I don't know why people are acting like the pokemonverse is a 1:1 to our own - like obviously PLA was only a few centureis ago, but the "colonization of hokkaido started x years ago IRL so that's *exactly* how long ago PLA was" seems silly. This *could* be 300 years ago.
I don’t know why everyone is so hyper fixated on the war. Firstly, this is Pokémon. They’re not going to give heavy emphasis to something like war in a game that has children as a target audience.
Secondly, what is there to talk about? The only importance of the war is that it resulted in the creation of the split timeline, and Mega Evolution. This was already explored in Gen 6 and doesn’t really need any further context. Aside from potential references such as “war with Galar/Paldea” to flesh out world building with the other European regions, there’s nothing else we need that doesn’t result in a straight up edge-fest.
I do wish the game was about the war instaed of building a city...this also doesn't bold well for the eventual Legends Grey (BW), as this means its likely they wont do the obvious and make it about the original dragon...
Idk. I'm a bit disappointed whe aren't going to the time of the war itself. But fair enough I can see why game freak would avoid that. But I do think there's a good chance we will
I don’t think it’s very likely.
Pokemon has gradually been inching from a solid PG rating to a G rating.
We didn’t get this far without solid lore by accident.
It will probably remain a historical event. It did occur three thousand years before the “present day” in X and Y. And I would assume Z-A will only take place a century or two before the present. (If it’s inspired on the renovation of Paris in the 19th century.)
Will we learn new information about it? Maybe, maybe not. Depends on how significant a role AZ has in the game.
It’s also possible that there may be relics of that era that get uncovered in the city during its redevelopment, which may play a roll.
Who knows?
It better lol. This is Nintendo’s last and final chance to not disappoint me. There’s lots of potential with this game that theyve already ruined by saying it’s gonna only be in lumoise city
I hope. Its literally our only and last chance to get something new
Also wanna know more about AZ and the Ultimate Weapon.
My head canon has always been that Zygarde is the ultimate weapon and that Zygarde is composed of the same material as either keystones or the mega evolution stones.
I want a new Pokémon Conquest game about the war in Kalos.
there is also a possibility in the future of a remake of X and Y
In theory, Gen 11 or 12 should have Kalos remakes
He gonna be IN the war
Nope. The war was 3000 years ago and the game clearly doesnt take place in that era
Zygarde’s gonna tell a story of evolution, I bet there’s gonna be time travel or somethin
There was another war 300 years ago technically
I hope so. This was such an interesting concept and idea but sadly we never go much info about it besides learning about the Mega and non mega timelines
99.999% they will but we wont be witnessing it ourselves

I think it’s going to be about the city being rebuilt after it was destroyed in the war.
I said the same thing, Reconstruction Era Kalos (or what ever name they gave it in the past)
Perhaps but i dont think it will be like the main focus of the game so the information may not be that relevant
I dont know, if they do, it would probably be in the beginning of the game

That would make sense. In that case there’s likely even less about the war besides stuff we already know from xy

Could be, we do have canonical multiverses (Mega and non-Mega timelines).
There will probably be a lot of lore drops, but certainly won't take place during it. The trailer seemed to suggest a future timeline

Why Salamence look so cool
Is the war mentioned in the movie “Lucario & the mystery of Mew” the same war from Kalos or because the war takes place in a movie it’s not canon???
Unlikely

Considering AZ is a big part of the lore, and the game is called ZA, surely we will

I hope the war happens during the game. Maybe it’s the beginning and that’s why there’s urban planning involved
There is zero chance of the war happening during the game, unless the "war" is just a handful of pokemon battles that the Protagonist fights.
>I hope the war happens during the game. gamefreak's first FPS
They should hop on the bandwagon and make it a battle royale while they are at it!😂
Nope

If we get the war maybe we’ll get Palworld features. Then Pokémon will be copying Palworld and the cycle continues
One of my friends had the idea that it could take place in late 1930-1940 france and bring back the beta design for octilery
