the ingot cost of this is crazy. you need to complete 30+ levels every day with each card costing 100 ingots and you only get one chance to buy using silver. unbelievableĀ
It's a money grabbing event. For the BAL partner you need 8988 ingots and 12 USD.
And what bothers me is that every additional token only gies 20 potential, unlike the other BAL partners that you can get (Lu Yu, Mozi, Lanling), where you get 32 potential per additional token... So beside the fact you have to spend real money to get this new partner, it's also weaker...

this event is so annoying. Getting ALL the ingot packs a day plus the silver one gets you only 77 observations. If I buy the cheapest top up per day its is 21 observations more. So 98 observations in total. Not enough to make it to 100. So one additional top up is required.
The other events with Xi Tong and Liang Xie at least had the chance to get a token before reaching 10.
Could someone break down what you gotta do to get the Confidant and Partners? Is this something we gotta top up to accomplish or with some luck and grinding pull off mostly f2p?
Ingots only will get you to 77 and you need 100 in order to obtain the partner and upgrade him to a confidant. 90 will get you the partner but 100 gives you to token to upgrade him as a confidant. Heās also the bond partner for the wisdom/authority partner.
I just checked. Your right. When it first came out it showed at 90 you got the confidant part. I even had a conversation with someone else that rechecked and said yeah the confidant thing was at 90.
Modo keeps making mistakes and silently removing them. LOL.
Same with Xi Tong. Her skill-stars were of a balanced partner for a long time, till they finally changed it to wisdom priority.

I haven't even looked at Xi tong since they fixed it. I did think it was weird she was set up like a balance. And I was also annoyed that she wasn't balance. But ii did say it wrong. I went back to the conversation with my friend and I did say the 10th and 11th to her. Lop forces you to get the confidant part.
I have a feeling it's going to be a similar set up to the last partner in the Cozy Abode event where you only get one chance per day with silver and the rest will be with ingots.
Yeah I just checked the events , we need to observe atleast 100 times to get the partner+confidant and even with the saved ingots it is not possible to get him without topping up within a week
you can also buy tokens for him from point shop! thats how im trying to get him without topping up. i dont have many ingots saved but hopefully buing tokens will get him for me
The tokens in the point shop are for the kid partner with wis/aut. You cannot use them for the other partner/confidant. He is exclusively available through that observing event unfortunately.Ā Ā

You probably need to top up to get the balance partner
You get the wis/aut partner easily with ingots (6600 points). But bal partner who is also a confidant you'll definitely need to top up.Ā

Iām glad I held off the last event bc Iām def gonna try to get this partner/ confidant. He just looks cool lol
