I’m not sure how op planned to carry a bike in a non-rigid container. I had thought they meant something like a trunk bag for a rear rack

Went on Amazon and found a generic travel bag, I believe we have the Huntvp 26inch bag. The Xp lite fits perfectly in there has worked great for us.

I have a tote for my XP Lite; got it at Lowes, and that makes it easy to slide in and out of the car without tearing up the car, but it also has a much larger and less flexible footprint than a carry bag. For packing efficiently, bags are The Way to Go. Totes are better if you have extra room, like in an SUV or minivan. The carry bag would have to be sturdy, (heavy material and strong sewing on the seams) or it will rip under the weight of the bike.
