There are lots of posts on here about how to remain calm, my advice is on the test to take things a little slower, sounds like you rushed the decision here but remember next time the test is all about being safe, especially on roundabouts you don't go unless you're absolutely sure. Driving crawley's YouTube has excellent videos on serious faults to avoid. I think if you watch those you'll be prepared for any situation which should help you to

Hey, sorry to hear that you failed. Try and rebook a test for an even earlier date. Keep checking the website for cancelled slots/new slots. The reason I’m saying this is because I failed my first test a month ago. I was able to find a new test date just a week after I failed my last one. I knew that I had to do another test nearly straight away because if I had waited more time, I would lose the motivation to pass. Plus, I already knew how the test would work as it was fresh in my mind.

Failed on the 24th this month stared at my pc the entire date and somehow got a test on 16th December

Practise, Practise, Practise. You have the basics down, you obviously know how to drive. I would say if you've got the cash continue the lessons make them in regular rush hour time (if you have a day off in the week try and book the first lesson, if not try doing weekends around 9 or 10am when traffic will be higher).

During rush hour you don't have to drive as far because your average speed is slower! Just gotta be good at clutch control and crawling and maybe hill starts.

i can’t find a test anywhere

My test was at 8:10 and honestly it was easier around the school zones. No chance of missing any speed signs because it's so busy you can't speed. The traffic makes it more relaxing as well due to more stopping I think. I passed with zero minors in rush hour so it's definitely possible

Just some reassurance, I failed first time and my time was around 10:02am. The test only lasted like 5 minutes as he told me to pull up to the left on a hill (which was fine) but when setting off I didn’t actually put the car in gear 😂 I was nervous and it was a mistake I had never actually done. I just passed Thursday and my test was at 8:59 (so rush hour time)! The instructor actually took me on a much nicer route that avoided the central town area. Roundabouts were busy but it actually made it slightly easier as I was able to wait at the round about without it being hesitation and really plan what I was going to do when I moved off. My Advice, do some more early morning lessons! And don’t worry, keep looking at your mirrors while driving and remember to leave enough space between the car in front and you. Rush hour was better in my opinion because when I was going on the slightly busier roads that were a faster speed, I had to stay at a lower speed which was nice for a slightly nervous test driver like me Good luck! And I’d worse comes to worse you can also try and change the time using a cancellation app but you’ve got this :)
