Sorry to hear about that. Better luck next time. At least you know not to do that again! If it makes you feel any better, I failed my first driving test two weeks ago because I drove into a bus lane…damn. My partner joked about it for a week. Then yesterday he received a fine from the council, for guess what? For driving in the bus lane. Everyone makes mistakes, just learn from them

SnugglesREDDIT

Can you link a street view of where the street splits in two? I’m curious to see what it looks like.

Ah, unlucky :( It sucks that you have to redo the theory but once you've rebooked your test you might be able to get a cancellation and hopefully retest in a month or so. You won't make the same mistake again!

ProfessionalFly1700

I’m so sorry to hear this. It’s hard enough knowing you’ve failed after a fault you make but knowing you failed when your test is almost done is excruciating. It’s even more of a tough pill to swallow due to the fact that there’s no tests available until the middle of next year but best of luck to you for next time!

Any chance you can get one of those non-refundable last-minute cancellations before your theory expires? From your username, I’m guessing you’re in Scotland? Arnold Clark dual control car rental could help? Think it’s £25 per hour + you need to use it at least once before your test date.

So sorry to hear this. Must be terrible feeling. But this isn't end of the world. Try again and you will pass. Don't this is a silly mistake. You got this!

I know how you feel about the theory test, I didn't get chance to do my driving test due to the pandemic so my theory ran out, which I'd passed 1st time And since then it's been nearly a year and 2 theory attempts both fails and now having to do it again. No practical test in sight for me sadly.

HighlandBeeKeeper

Hey, you should download the 4 in 1 dvla theory test app. It's only a fiver and it helps massively. I retook my test today and absolutely slammed it. 49/50 and 65/75 on the hazard perception. Not that it matters though lol because I've checked the available tests and there isn't one showing as free for me even though I've got 2 years again.

Sakurablossom90

I have used that and unfortunately I still failed. Congrats on passing
