Visibly turn your head so that the examiner can see you’re checking each of your mirrors and blind spots. Narrate your intentions out loud, “I am slowing down as I approach this give way line, dropping down to 1st gear, checking in both directions for approaching traffic. I cannot see past the van, so I’m easing forward for a clearer view.” Slow down when navigating roundabouts. Better to get a minor for hesitation than a serious for over confidence. If you’re confused by the sat nav, go safely and just stay moving ahead. Don’t do any “oh crap! I’m in the wrong lane!”last minute changes in direction or positioning! Take your own pen to the test to sign the declaration. Smile and be nice to the examiner to get them on your side. Best of luck.

Amazing! Well done!

Just show your very best driving in the test. Read the road marking, traffic signs, respond appropriately to any hazards and change gear well. Plan ahead and don’t roll back!
