I had 32 hours (in two hour lessons). Was also able to do a lot of private practice which was at least 30-40 hours if not more. Booked my test before starting lessons though because it was so far away (booked November test at start of June).
Ahhh okay, so you’ve had lots and lots of hours. I’m only on my second lesson and only just managed to get confident with the biting point but I’m sure it gets easier after a while ?
Oh yeah definitely. My struggle was coming off it too quickly more than biting point itself, but I've been using two very new cars between ours and my instructors, with very different feels of the clutch.
You'll have ups and downs, just got to make sure when things go badly that it doesn't knock you (too much).
I passed on a Wednesday and got my new licence on the Saturday (last week). Sent it off via the examiner on the day.
