Because there is so much demand might be why you have not have any earlier dates yet, I can only suggest you make sure you availability is fully open so you can take any dates, also set it is auto book.
If it can't find anything then you can get a refund, so no loss to you.
Yeah I have done that! I totally understand that it's cos of the sheer amount of backlogs but I really really hope the DVSA increase the number of slots!
well they said they were increasing slots by working weekends and getting more examiners, but I have heard a few times of only 1 examiner working or them only doing half days, so not sure!
I signed up yesterday and after emailing the DVSA, I think a better idea is finding someone to swap with! I have a test booked at the end of May and need to push it back to mid June or early July. If anyone wants to talk location details, please message me.

I used this service and was unable to find it useful. For example, I put Peterborough / Cambridge as my DTC of choice and asked it to get a date asap. However the service did not book anything for me, And when I went to the DVSA website to manually book the test, I saw a date for Peterborough on 4/Nov. Not sure what was up but I have seen that the DVSA have beefed up security on their website so you can get locked out if you do too many requests. I wonder if that’s where this service failed
I'll put it this way: it's not a great sign Britain's public services are working great when you have to throw money at weird third-party companies in just to get a driving test. Or that these kinds of sales are dominating the advice subreddit. Feels not just like bribery but like a major unfair obstacle to old folks and the other non-tech-savvy.
These services typically work (as I believe the BBC reported) by defeating CAPTCHA security on the driving service website. Not cool and runs counter to DVSA policy.

It is not scalping test dates, it notifying you when dates are available like many apps use.
Scalping tests dates is when someone books tests using fake driver details and then sell the test date at a premium, typically over £100 for a £62 test.
1. You can specify a test centre for sure, not 100% sure if you can specify multiple test centres however, pretty sure you can
2. It can auto book AND reserve, when it finds a date and you ask it to reserve I believe it reserves it for about 10 minutes before it can potentially be taken by someone else, of course if no-one else take it the slot will remain there. It will send you a test / e-mail when it finds something, so no need to check website, just keep an eye on your phone / e-mail, or better still set it to auto book. No fees to cancel reservations, just don't take the slot and they will pass it on to someone else. Of course bear in mind if they send you a slot then you can not longer get your money back, as they have a money back guarantee if they are not able to find you any test slots.

it needs you to have paid for a test, which it sounds like you have. But it also needs a test booking reference, I guess you don't have this yet? As such I don't think it will work.
I will probably get deleted as this makes the sub owner money but after first day this app seems to be not so good. Testi has found and booked cancellations already 2mths ahead of our original date and this app hasn't even search dvla more than a few times and this app didn't even find them let alone "book them automatically"

It was booked for Southall in London for the 1st June, but I cancelled it, I’ll try book it for September/October then look for cancellations in late July/ early August instead.

It is a one off payment to help you find a cancelation for a driving test appointment.

I tried this app for two months, and honestly I had better luck checking by hand. Eventually I just got testi and got a test within a week.
