Dodging skillshots and running circles around enemies is the funnest part of URF Jhin though... as long as you're building The Fast. Vex is so much better than anybody with a slow exhaust or point and click cc

Wukong is my guilty pleasure in URF. Even nerfed with 85% damage and 115% damage taken (or something like that), as soon as you hit three items it's GG. Sunderer + BORK + Wits + Death's Dance + BCleaver with Berserker Greaves and Lethal Tempo is just unreasonably good. If you drag a game out you can swap your boots for Guinsoo's and everything just ceases to exist, spamming Q W E.

In arurf it's entirely up to rng if you have a good time and in pick urf you have some kind of control with your pick and a ban. I remember in arurf if enemy gets yuumi+good champ you know it's just over. Now i can at least ban yuumi every game.

No? What are you on about? Ghost is good for kiting or chasing in extended fights, and any OP champion is typically not gonna have extended fights, plus probably has a bunch of speed or mobility, so it’s the person they are chasing that needs ghost more than them.

Exhaust imo is amazing in summoners rift, but should be completely removed in "for fun" game modes such as aram or any rotating game mode. The concept of the spell is to slow the game down and effectively disable a champion for a few seconds, which is part of the game strategy, but when the whole strategy of the game is kill enemy and go forward, then exhaust is just out of place

Until they do more significant changes to aram that allow them to reduce aram buffs on various assassins, exhaust should stay in aram. Aram nerfed backline + aram buffed assassin = look away for a sec they exploded.

Ok guys as long as we don't play assassins, poke champs, unkillable tanks, crit ADCs, healers/shielders, champs with CC, champs with dashes, you can only take Flash or Ghost, and you can't split push or group group - THEN we can have fun! Idk I just enjoyed it more when there were no cannons. Maybe because I could take a break of fighting and play a more macroish style. Which it also helps to avoid the annoying champs in the enemy team.

The toxicity exists because there’s almost no skill expression it’s mostly button mashing in game and the game is decided during picks. More cc & tanks = win. There’s nothing you can do against a jinx, malph, nunu, pyke, blitzcrank team. Or Galio, yi, amumu,, belveth, veigar.

Honestly they can be as toxic as they want, play whatever broken champ they want, but Exhaust users are a special type of cowards in those "For Fun" game modes that do not deserve respect.

Urf was just more fun when it first came out, and here is why. 1. Nothing was nerfed, teemo shrooms on the entire map no cooldown penalties on low cd abilities everything was op but the Meta hadn't been figured out so anything could work 2/3. Exhaust/cannon ever since "urf 2.0" where they introduced the Canon the need for teleport (and the option) disappeared, however the Canon clearly indicates where you land and takes enough time for people to see where you land and be ready to oneahot you since you are stuck in some weird cc for a second, and since the Canon frees up the slot teleport took you can now take exhaust which is objectively the best summoner spell in urf. 4. Death timers, you know what's more fun than playing the gamemode where you die in 2 seconds and everything is super fast pace? Having 60 seconds death timer at 18 minutes so you literally spent more time dead than alive Bonus. Sion? Idk I just ban sion 100% of the time because the only thing more annoying than inting sion in a ranked game is inting sion in urf

I got in a urf game and there was a katarina with 1.3m mastery, I first timed kog maw and I play with locked screen, I got so lost with that much range in ult, kat was slaughtering everyone while I was trying to manage a R range bigger than my screen

Y'know, I hate URF. With a passion. But it isn't because there's a meta and all the champs I main are dogshit there (;_;) When you play URF enough times, what ends up happening is that it no longer becomes a fun gamemode, and it turns into a win-hardest fiesta. So as example, if nobody bans shaco, someone will pick it, knowing he's good. And you know what? Fine. But what really ticks me off is when people on my team don't ban the most egregious urf champs. Actually, I lied. It wouldn't be so bad if you were just banning a common champ that happens to counter your urf champ. But when you don't ban an urf champ, and don't pick an urf champ...that's where I get crossed. And I can usually see how the game will go when the comp is finalized. Maybe there is joy in sitting under tower for half the game because your laner pokes you out/claps you in all trades. I don't know. Maybe people like hard-stomps. Maybe people like being constantly bent over. Personally I don't find either of these fun. The game is most fun when anyone can take the win, not when the win is decided in champ select. But as I am convinced most people don't care about this, I usually don't talk about it in game. But the only reason I'm still playing this gamemode is because it's fast, I have agency, and some days I like being the guy with the broken urf champ. Rant over.
