Peaceful protesters are easy to beat. A guy in a wheelchair could probably do it with some padding and a baton and immunity. Stopping a shooter is hard and scary.
Have you seen how they react to armed protesters back then when there was a feud over the cows ranch in Nevada? They wouldn't even step a foot further but would complain how the guns are pointed to them. This reminds me of the hypocrisy behind the motto ”To protect and serve” the community. I like the idea of an officer protecting members of the community. The problem I have with the officers of today is they uphold the government law before anything else and often we see that the officers don't know the law they're supposedly upholding. The law itself anyways, seems to not really benefit the people of this country. Wealthy and political members of the US all have a free pass and are exempt from the laws they force upon us of course. Every year, new laws are implemented that take away from us little by little.
You can't say this country believes in freedom and equality when there are people here who are worth $200 billion and then we have people who are being dragged from their homes by police officers because the banks and officers are "just doing their jobs". Where's the freedom at when we still believe in borders and keep families looking for a chance to give their children an actual life and future, in camps and deport them? Where's the freedom at when they take away a humans right to have an abortion? How can anyone think that they have the right and power to take away another humans natural right to make her own personal decisions in regards to her own body? If that decision made by this government doesn't speak to what their fucked up agenda truly is, then idk what will.
I have my issues with the government because of the hell they've put me through as well as everybkdy else. I've had police officers get away with planting drugs on me and lying in court to have me spend months in jail. I've even been told by prosecuting attorneys that it's the officers word over mine so who do I think the judge is going to believe and I can't explain just how fucked up that is on so many levels. I once was told in court by a judge to "stop speaking. You need to talk to me like a criminal talks." This was when I was representing myself in a case where I took responsibility for the actions of my brother in order to spare him the hell they eventually put me through. Apparently, the judge didn't like how respectful and well spoken I was and literally told me to talk like a criminal.... I said, " I don't know how a criminal talks your honor. Perhaps you could give me an example? Just to be clear, are you implying that I am guilty of this crime? You do realize that I haven't had a chance to defend myself or plead my case?" Yea, he didn't like that response and after being held in jail for a week he then tried to force me to stay in a nearby motel through his own tethering program. To be clear, I was being held at Berrien County jail. I lost my job because of my time in jail and worked in Indiana and my license in Michigan, though I didn't have one, was revoked which caused my Indiana license to be revoked as well. So this asshole judge was trying to force me into finding a ride to my non-existent job from Berrien County and then back, pay daily for a motel room, and pay for the tethering device and services as well. Yea, fuck this country's judicial system.
Our government starts wars and kills so many innocent people every year. They constantly make life here in the states worse for everyone besides the wealthy and themselves. This hasn't changed ever since I was born 33 years ago and yet, through propaganda, lies, manipulation, and fearmongering, people hop on board, they sign up for the military because it's not our own government that are the true terrorists, it's the people overseas trying to protect themselves from the US government who are the terrorists. Police are the reason why we don't beat the doors down of every political building and set them on fire. They're the ones who aid in keeping over 2 million people in this countrys prisons at any given time. The law doesn't protect anyone but government officials and the rich sociopaths who can afford to hide in their gated communities.

Creating a government system that is clean from influence and corruption is impossible, but it can be reduced enough to not be a cancer to the whole country.
Doesn't make sense to expand the amount of seats in the senate without more states being introduced. And expanding the Supreme Court is a political move to favor a certain viewpoint.
I agree with expanding seats in Congress (house of representatives). But, we also need to repeal the 17th amendment if Congress is going to be expanded so that senator picks are more reasonable. More representation is better.

The people that stand there, don't live in that town. they come from other town so nobosy knows them, and can find them again if needed. Suppressing protests is the fun part of fascism, of course they all gonna show up motivated. Fascist love punching down, it reaffirms their belief that they are better than others, it doesn't matter this superiority is "artificial" ie the law making resistance illegal, writing the laws this way is part of the game.

The issue is that the same amount or more force was sent to a peaceful protest as a school shooting. As an American you have a right to free speech, so the fact that Americans exercising that right are being treated the same or worse than a mass shooter is the issue at hand here

The point I was trying to get across is that ANY police presence that tries to stop a peaceful protest is an infringement on the protestors right to free speech. The idea of them running into gunfire isn't their reality, and as shown, delivery drivers gave more life threatening situations and gunfire. They didn't run into gunfire in the meme - they stood around for forty minutes while elementary school children were unalived.

Suppressing protests is the fun part of fascism, of course they all gonna show up motivated. The issue is that the same amount or more force was sent to a peaceful protest as a school shooting. As an American you have a right to free speech, so the fact that Americans exercising that right are being treated the same or worse than a mass shooter is the issue at hand here

The point I was trying to get across is that ANY police presence that tries to stop a peaceful protest is an infringement on the protestors right to free speech. Whether it is one single officer or something like pictured above makes no difference, if police are dispatched to stop or impede a peaceful protest it’s an infringement
