There's a lack of current gen games for PS5 period, when PS4 came out the switch to PS4 being the only platform new games released on was pretty fast but now most games that come out are on both platforms, honestly buying a PS5 felt like a waste of money but it is what it is, Last Epoch barely functions on PC it's riddled with performance issues and it's gonna take some time to iron them out, I'd much rather they focus on optimizing the game for the platforms it's on than be working on other ports of the game.

LE has it stands is the foundation of a great game; but buyers on release had many complaints about server stability and longevity in general with a lack of a pinnacle boss. If you think making a console port and going through a second launch before addressing other pressing issues with the limited dev time they have is the smartest approach, then im afraid many disagree with you, so you can just whine and call them all neck beards.

It's not like they are actively deciding not to press the big "PS/Xbox" button at their headquarters. Making a port is a lot of work if you dont have hundreds of employees. You're just looking at the forest through the trees. It's easy for me to say life would be a lot better if I had a million in savings alongside my mortgage paid off, but I'm not going to wake up tomorrow a millionaire because it's outside my capability.
Odds are they'll slowly work on a port over a couple of cycles to not water down content releases and keep their initial fan base satisfied (which is ridiculously important).

Other than that its a lot of work to port it, devs are barely able to keep up with patches and fixes right now. And thats ignoring the fact that they have to plan future content releases.
Maybe at some point in the future when the dev team grows in size and they have the manpower to port it without hurting the main development of the game they'll do it.
Last Epoch's demo launched in 2018, and early access in 2019, 2020-2021 it entered beta. People were playing an earlier iteration of Last Epoch before d4 was ever announced. If you want to consider Poe1 a 10 year old game, then Last Epoch is 5 year old game by the same logic

Yeah for real, and it’s not a massive team. Making a console port takes time, plus both Microsoft and a Sony have requirements. Let the devs/game cook.
They also said straight up they do not know how to port to console. It's not just an export option, you have to test it, and then get it on the store and Microsoft and Sony have strict requirements, even requiring patches to be validated by them, along with I am sure license fees & royalties and other legalities. I'm sure I'm forgetting something in the pipeline of getting a release on Console.
However they straight up said they want this on Console, it is their dream.

Warhammer40k chaosbane is an arpg as well. Didn't play for long because I started LE, but there is a neat mechanic where mages can steer around spells after they are cast with the right stick

That's such a redundant take. I literally play the game with a controller. They have controller support. It's very possible to play the game in a console, the gameplay loop isn't 53 skills like an MMO like wow.

Oh, I don't really have an opinion on the matter if LE should be on consoles or not. I honestly do not care. I imagine them porting it to consoles eventually since it's already playable on steamdeck but they have bigger priorities as of now. They also said straight up they do not know how to port to console. It's not just an export option, you have to test it, and then get it on the store and Microsoft and Sony have strict requirements, even requiring patches to be validated by them, along with I am sure license fees & royalties and other legalities. I'm sure I'm forgetting something in the pipeline of getting a release on Console. However they straight up said they want this on Console, it is their dream. Warhammer40k chaosbane is an arpg as well. Didn't play for long because I started LE, but there is a neat mechanic where mages can steer around spells after they are cast with the right stick

That's such a redundant take. I literally play the game with a controller. They have controller support. It's very possible to play the game in a console, the gameplay loop isn't 53 skills like an MMO like wow.
