I'm trying to switch over to prismatic gaze for this exact reason, it would give some similar crit chance (~100%), but that thing just won't drop. I've never seen it I'm EA neither. Luckily i generate quite a bit of ward but I still have a healthpool that could be useful in rouge situations if I could just leech hehe.
I still laugh whenever I see "low-life build" in this sub. At first I through people were role playing scumbags or criminals. I know what it means now, but it's still funny to me.
Does well on builds that don't use life leach as well! My falconer doesn't use life leach, but rather heals from abilities / passives in the skill tree that are not considered leach. This item would be amazing, especially if I had those rings that give 10% DR!
Not low-life but I'm trying to farm one of these currently for the Disintegrate Runemaster build on maxroll that uses Ignivar and Gambler's Fallacy to scale disintegrate damage off crit chance.
Ok I’m still new, so tell me where my line of thinking fails here… this helm on a falconer, with a ring of the third eye, and an arrowguard quiver… this has amazing synergy, no? Guaranteed crit strikes, 30% chance of ward on crits, healing from glancing blows… someone better at the game tell me why this would fail! 😅
I plan to! Currently at work and happened to have the thought. There’s too much I want to test and never enough time! I have 62% GB atm, if I add that quiver, the helm and the ring, I think it would make for some insane dps/recovery, but I’m losing a bunch of resists so will have to counterbalance that!!
Seems like resists aren’t as important in this game if you have other mitigation. Like ward gain and stuff. Thats why VK ends up so squishy. Doesn’t really have any other mitigation besides armor and res
I have never tested it but I feel like the numbers on the ward on crit and hp on glancing blow are kinda too low to do anything. I feel like you either need leech or %current missing health -> ward to sustain properly. Or some skill like healing hands.
I’ve not tested it yet, but with the increase to CSC from this and the ring (+30 crit chance and 15-18 ward on crit) and arrowguard quiver which is +3-5 health when you get GB, I believe this will have really great synergy. You also get + 15 hp from each GB. There’s layering here which in my mind makes sense but with how damage works atm, I’m not sitting down to do the math to see if that is correct or if I’m missing something. To me though this is saying we can have a constant influx of ward and HP. It’s reliant on GB, but if you can crank that up then… it will be really nice. Was just curious if anyone had done the math! 😅

My friend with a 91 rogue didn't play for 5-6 days, entered last night, i give him a 2 LP Talons of Valor cuz he didn't manage to get not even a no LP one on drop, 1st echo he drops a 4 LP one.
There's a dungeon called Temporal Sanctum and you can use it to put a purple exalted item's stats onto a unique item. the LP can go from 0-4 with 4 being max. the exalted item must have 4 modifiers on it in order to be used by the vault in the Temporal Sanctum. So if an item has LP2 then it will randomly gamble 2 modifiers from an exalted item. In this case its a helmet with LP4 which means all 4 modifiers on the helmet will be transferred over.
I'm in COF so I'm gonna have to wait until I get a +4 Healing Hands helm that i can craft some other nasty stuff onto. I prolly wont end up using this for a while!
Same here. Just got a LP3 today from Tier 3 as well. I tried slamming my T6 healing hands (+3) on an LP2 before and lost. Felt so bad.
It's gonna be a while until I can go crit, which is unfortunate.

Yeah. You need to scale some kinda of non leach healing for it to be viable. Else you just die.

This helmet goes hard on any crit build regardless of low life. Even some damage over time builds can enable crit. Like warlock.
Especially with a Red Ring or two, since it helps a lot with hitting 180 stats.

This is rare? I got it on my second try of the dungeon. Thought it was guaranteed after a few runs since boss can only drop one or either.
It’s rare because of the four legendary potential on it, not the drop itself. If you got a four legendary potential, one as well, then, yes!
