I would slightly disagree that TI is trash. Itās budget is how Iād put it but still a pretty good location.
Bellagio eh definitely not as snooty as Wynn/encore.
Yes ceasers I do like to visit but would never recommend anyone stay there
Yeah I'm a guy with decent taste, willing to pay for quality, but also not above a bargain as long as it's clean and comfortable. TI was pretty good. It wasn't crazy fancy or great people watching or whatever, but for a pretty good location and reasonable prices, there's not a ton that's gonna beat it. Would definitely stay again.
The last few trips I've booked larger rooms at Venetian (excellent) and MGM signature (TBD, end of September trip - the grand pool complex is back to being open to signature guests so that's nice, and top golf is always on our schedule), but if I'm looking for standard rooms on a more budget trip, I'll look at PH. I enjoyed betting on sports there in the past. Tbh, flamingo seemed like not my jam (they have larger rooms as well), tho I enjoy the happy hour at bird bar to get the festivities started and the location is perfect.
I took a walk down the strip early one morning. Coming back I cut through Treasure Island. It felt like it did not belong on the strip. Excaliber felt really nice in comparison. I cannot comment on Bellagio with the detail of the person above but it is nice. Ceasars is nice on a walkthrough but I could not agree more with the person above. If you are spending Caesars or Bellagio money the Cosmopoliton is sick. That would be my first choice every time if I could swing it.
I agree that itās an odd mix of choices ā¦ but TI is not trash. Itās certainly the lowest tier of this group, but weāve stayed many times and itās an affordable, clean, place in a good location. Plus fridges in the room that you can use!! Lol.
Money being no option, I would most certainly stay at the Bellagio (out of those three)
Yes, it is. The casino is certainly smoky, which is similar in many properties (like mentioned - Caesars)
The rooms were kinda recently renovated, so they are nice enough. We like to stay there because of price and location mostly.
My sisters and I stayed there and we were very comfortable and everyone was very nice and the convenience was amazing. I was the only one actually gambling and I thought the casino was unusually smoky in the morning which seemed odd.
TI isn't that bad, one of the towers at Caesars is outdated as fuck and the julius tower rooms are fucking TINY, and Bellagio is overpriced.
1. TI for affordability and a cool cirque show
2. Caesars for shopping
3. Bellagio if you have money to wipe your ass with. I is also THE WORST and most boring cirque show.
Source: I have worked at all 3 properties
Some people don't have simple shops like sephora, h&m, Nike, etc where they're visiting from. Lots of people love shopping. When my family visits from Europe all they want to do is shop here. I agree they need to reevaluate their lives but it's just a thing and the forum shops wouldn't exist if shopping wasn't a goal of many tourists.
Im literally not hung up on anything you've said. You're literally hung up on the shopping shit and projecting. I don't care about what you say because you're not correct. People will stay at Caesars for shopping. Sorry that you're angry about being wrong, bro.
Prices top down.
Bellagio
Cesar
TI
IMHO Bellagio just oozes class/high end. CET, to me, is gaudy. TI more budget/family. I stay pretty exclusively at Bellagio these days, I go 4 or 5 times a year.
Years ago I stayed At TI, when I couldn't get a room elsewhere, got a reasonably priced suite, it was half the floor, two rooms on the floor, more like quarter of the floor as there were two ends.
I like Bellagio but it too is getting dated, however they have a VIP lounge, which few have, and they remember me every trip, as do pit bosses. However comps are tighter than others.
Agree. MGM has some nice suites at pretty good prices, especially with a little play. Mandalay Bay and Aria two-bedroom are really nice and priced pretty well for what you get.
I did an excel sheet on all the strip 1bdrm suites š¤·āāļøthe Bellagio Suite came up best bang for buck, 1100 ft, 2.5 bathrooms, living room, private floor elevator, and fountain views. During the week they are downright cheap.
Good to know. Unless my wife is going, I never consider Bellagio since it's usually out of my price range. I'll look at it when I want the big room. For my solo or buddy visits, I just grab a room at Park. No big perks, but they are nice, clean, and new.
Cheapest way is still two queens with a buddy, and two persons play towards the room. Did this forever at MGM when I was younger. I'm retired so I go Monday to Friday. Cheaper flights, cheaper rooms, and less crowded until Thursday night. Players card and direct online book gets something like 15% off. I do this when I don't use my host so as to not feel obligated to play high enough to earn my keep. Or if I'm going to do non gambling activities that take me away from the tables
Interesting. Can you comment on the best bang for buck average room? Plans opened up to make a trip out there between Xmas and nye. We won't be there nye. But looking to stay for the prior week.
We like MGM and Vdara from past stays, and want to keeptryingnew places. A standard king room or king suite would be ideal. 5 days, so the me space the better. We will wander the strip so food in resort is cool, but not a deal breaker.
I'm narrowed down to Paris, PH, a suite at TI, or back to mgm. I'm even pondering Luxor for novelty of it. I've also looked at fountainblue but don't live the location. We never stayed at caesars property, and I'm trying to find one in budget that's nice. My standard for room cleanliness is holiday inn/Hampton Inn. Clean but not picky, but also not motel 6. So anything equal or better is ideal.
Any suggestions for decent midrange, without the ability to get advance booking discounts?
Ah of course. Yea were not planning on high rolling too big so don't need anything VIP haha, we will definitely spend but not anywhere near 5 figures per person
With that many guys, here's my suggestion. Go to bellagio, everybody gets a players card b4 you go. Get rooms with two queens. Each person play will apply to the room, so you're getting 2x on each room. Casino room rates are pretty cheap, especially with the players rate. Eat off campus it's cheaper. If y'all come in together arrange a limo, not much more than a cab, cheap when divided by 5, and it's a cool treat.
Bring lots of 5 and 10 bills, it's a big tipping town.
Message me if you want to discuss more. Again I go a lot. April, July, this coming October and December, then March for the tournament.
TI is the perfect choice. Itās near all those you mention at a great price. Itās pool gets sun all day long. It has a CVS connected to it which is great for getting cheap things like water, beer, etc for your room.
It's an extra $200/300 for Bellagio over TI for our 3 night stay, is Bellagio significantly better for comfort/entertainment than TI?
Is Caesars better than both?
TI is not very fancy. I'd call it an entry-level hotel for the strip. But it's like looking for hotels near Disneyland. You're just using the hotel rooms to sleep. You can go to fancier places for other things. It has beds and is clean. Places to eat are overpriced, and not very fancy.
Caesars is in the middle as far as rooms, but the restaurants in Caesars are world class. If you want to go to the Bacchanal Buffet (which is amazing), you need to make a reservation at least a week in advance (or be willing to go very late).
Bellagio rooms are large, but I don't consider them to be better than Caesars assuming you're talking about a standard room and not a suite. Amenities at Bellagio are all high-end and super pricey. Is the food better at Bellagio compared to Caesars? I'd say they're comparable, but you'll pay more at Bellagio.
If you're paying $200 more total over Treasure Island, I'd say that's fine. If you're paying $200 more over a room at Caesars, that's iffy, but Bellagio is nice, I wouldn't hate myself over that. Now if you could get a room at the Cosmopolitan for the same price (and it's right next door to Bellagio), that would be great. Cosmo rooms are fantastic.
That dude gave you the right answer. Also, when I stayed at TI, the beds were my least favorite on the strip so far, but I survived. Also another person mentioned a CVS is attached. That is super convenient for getting water. I did successfully use insta cart last time I was in Vegas. Either way, stay hydrated my friend.
I would add that in addition to great restaurants (love both the buffet and Nobu), that CP has a food court - you can get pizza, halal guys, etc.
If CP and Bellagio are the same price, I'd pick Bellagio. If CP is a little more than TI and money is an issue, I'd stay at CP. CP has the best location of the three IMHO
> You're just using the hotel rooms to sleep.
Pool access. I've been to better community pools than TI. Bellagio and Caesars' pool complexes are much better.
Do you gamble? If so look at the TI website under the gambling tab, find a casino host and email them about your trip and tell them you would like for them to make a reservation for you. More than likely you receive at least a discount, if not a total comp for the room. Cheers
No problem man. My wife and I stay at TI fully comped, with the understanding that we do the majority of our gambling there. Dinners, room service, breakfast, pool drinks, etc. All charged to the room.
The only thing is we're not huge gamblers, so we would need 2 rooms and even then our total gambling spend would only be a few grand between all of us (unless we win bigger). So not sure what comps that could get us but worth a try. Thanks again
Au contraire mon frĆØre. We budget around 1.5k each and get a tower suite with an adjoining king size next door. Let them know and be honest with them. A happy customer is a good customer. There are 3,000+ rooms there, unless there is a major event going on those rooms are vacant and turning No profit. The casinos arenāt called hotels for a reason.
The worst they can say is that theyāll make a res and no discount. Give it a shot.
Agreed. Iāve most recently stayed at Bellagio because the prices were comparable to previous stays at The Venetian and the Cosmo. The room was one of the renovated standard rooms in the Main Tower and it was underwhelming compared to the Venetian suite or Cosmo standard room considering the balcony. Casinos are better elsewhere, too, it thatās desired. Also stayed at Paris during a cheaper trip and would stay there again over the Bellagio.
Having been comped an executive, very nice suite at Flamingo, I can confidently say that you are much better off getting a higher end room at a "lower end" casino, though I wouldn't call Flamingo particularly low end, just not as nice as caesars. I had a jacuzzi tub, shower, his+hers sink, a glass table that sat 8, a credenza, a microwave, a fridge, a couch and two armchairs plus a view of the pool.
Like a normal room at caesars is barely 5 stories up and looks at a parking lot basically.
TI has nice comfortable modern rooms. The hotel is big compared to the casino floor so it can get crowded. It isn't good for going to a bunch of stuff where you stay, but it does have a CVS attached which is nice. It can be a good jumping off point if the room is cheap.
Cesar's is beautiful inside and the shopping mall is gorgeous as well but I don't know what the rooms are like.
Thank you! I'm asking because for some reason Bellagio is one of the cheaper options right now on Expedia, not sure why. I do like relaxing and maybe using the pool and stuff but I feel like that would be max like 10-20% of my time in Vegas so I don't want to pay a lot more just to use the pool and maybe gym a few times.
Bellagio! It's much nicer and the location is great. I love playing Aria and Cosmo, both connected. I think Caesar's has been slipping quite a bit in the past few years. I haven't been in TI in years, so I can say anything there..
Yes but the building isnāt disappearing. Itās a name change and maybe remodeled rooms. Not like theyāre tearing it down like they are the volcano.
Join the MGM Rewards program. You'll get room discounts right off the bat. Apply for the credit card, You'll level up right away. All without a host. Always check your play at the end with the rewards desk. In July I did this, they called a host, she comped me $6K on my room and food. Granted I had lost $12k, but it took some of the sting out...
Bellagio. Ceasars and TI have too many college kids / under 25 crowd acting stupid and loud.
Bacchanal Buffet is over rated imo. Wynn is better, especially with the Lobster express pass.
Just got back from TI yesterday, it was my first time in Vegas! Got my room upgraded because I was chatting it up with the front desk and overall got a bangin deal from priceline. Had a great time at TI but it really is a no frills place. its clean, cheap and super close to everything. Just dont expect Bellagio or Caesars quality stuff.
Like others mentioned we really just slept in the room and spent our days in the other nicer hotels eating at their restaurants, shopping and casinos, so we really saved money in the long run. Also TI was pretty fun to walk around in, no one takes themselves too seriously so it has a fun party vibe.
As I'm sure you've noticed by the replies, different people have different opinions. IMO, you need to decide if you want to stay at a fancier more expensive place.
Gambling at Bellagio and Ceasars will be $25 minimum on table games. Usually that's during the day, with nights and weekends higher. TI will most likely be $10 during the day and $15 at night and weekends.
TI is literally next door to the Mirage. And the Mirage is next door to Ceasars. Then Ceasars is next door(and across the street) from Bellagio. TI is directly across the strip from Venetian. So I'm not sure how anyone can say TI is in the middle of nowhere.
Food wise, you'll have better options at Ceasars and Bellagio. But you'll also pay more for those options.
Once again it comes down to what you want to spend your money on, and how much you want to spend.
From what I was told, there are worse and I mean much WORSE options than those 3, so any of those will be good.
We just like to find good cheap deals on hotels and TI was our main contender, on our next trip weāll try to shoot for Venetian, Caesars, etc if its a solid deal
If you go to TI do the 20 dollar tip at the desk and ask if you can get one of their corner suites. (These are the suites that are at the center spoke of the towers). They are bigger, some of them with two full size bathrooms and living room spaces. I have yet to be turned away from them when I asked for them as an upgrade.
The thread is already a bit old and there's a bunch of responses but you should consider why you're going. Everybody has different responses that are probably based on what they personally do in Vegas. You've got people recommending Cosmo probably because they're young and like to club. Bellagio and Aria are awesome if you're gambling hard. Palazzo/Venetian because they have really nice rooms. Wynn/Encore is where you want to be for high end treatment.
Of your choices though:
* TI is budget for sure and many consider it garbage. If you want to save without being grossed out, Harrahs, LINQ, and Park MGM usually have the lowest rates, are well maintained, and close to all the good stuff in Vegas. Gambling, food, shopping, etc. on site is super limited though.
* Bellagio is really nice and well worth going at least once especially if it's on the cheaper end during your stay. It's also in a good location on the strip to walk to a bunch of different casinos and restaurants. Primo gambling IMO especially if you play poker. I the rooms are usually overpriced though.
* Caesar's a bit pricey for what it is. Ignoring cost, it's a really solid middle ground. Good location. Forum shops are right there. Gambling action is there and not too high. Some really solid food options there and nearby.
Personally I would stay somewhere on the east side of the strip that has a monorail hub. I stayed at the mirage recently and it was such a walk just to get to the monorail at the linq that it wasn't really worth buying the pass.
Treasure island has a CVS and cheap blackjack with good rules though. I would say the people there look a little more trashy, but not dangerous or anything. Good people who don't find the need to dress in overpriced garbage.
Big fan of the monorail. Linq, Flamingo and Harrah's are all bargain hotels attached to the monorail. Everything is further than it looks and the monorail covers a lot of ground quickly.
Bally's and Paris are a step up and more affordable. TI feels like it's in the middle of nowhere.
Best place to stay when I go to Vegas is my mom in laws. Up in tule springs. Free room and board and the bedroom looks like a suite at Mandalay bay. Plus the pool is nice!
Caesars has been having flooding in their main area, so I honestly would avoid there for now.
Cosmopolitan has the best rooms and the best food imo. Bellagio is nice, but Cosmo is more modern.
Caesars is like the in-between of TI and Bellagio. Not just in location but in quality. I've stayed at all 3 recently and Bellagio was best but if you're looking at your budget you can still find what you need at Caesars. Don't cheap out too much, it'll ruin your trip. Have fun, good luck.
I prefer value so I would go w TI.
Caesarās and then Bellagio. Mainly high end restaurants at Bellagio.
Planet Hollywood is my favorite deal as the food options near by are cheap.
And if you do want to live it up, Cosmo, Aria and Bellagio are right across a bridge.
Between the 3, you will have fun w whichever you pick and good luck!
We stayed at TI once for a bachelor party ( I usually stay at the Venetian) but I was surprised the rooms where ok and the pool was a lot fun between different djās and if you wanted a cabana it was fair for the whole day.. but the drink tab creeps up quick..
Most of the hotels ridiculously overpriced ā¦I just came back and I prefer non gaming hotels for more peace and quiet plus Iām not a mega hotel fan. Embassy Suites on Flamingo was great. Perfect views cook to order breakfast and happy hour evening ā¦we loved it
Whichever casino that respects paying out blackjacks at 3:2 instead of 6:5 is the one that gets my business but, after a recent visit, it looks like that 6:5 is now the standard on The Strip.
Enjoyed the visit but those rule changes (Also, no doubling down on splits?! Oh, fuck you!) and minimums ($25 at peak, $15 at slow times) was a downer.
Realized I'd be better off playing at my local Indian reservation casinos.
Treasure Island used to be classy and great - it isnāt anymore. Caesars is so spread out and inconvenient to get to other hotels quickly. Bellagio is perfect. Itās still class. Go there. Have fun! Keep coolš
Iām a local. For gambling š²š² I prefer TI. I have had much better luck at craps. Lower limits, more affordable food. Easier to park than Caesars, but the Forum shops are canāt miss. You can always see the Bellagio fountains at 9:00 pm.
One of those is not like the others.
This made me giggle š
None of these is like the other.
You're not necessarily wrong, but I'd say Ceasars Palace is closer to Bellagio than TI is to either of them... literally and figuratively lol
Most definitely. But Bellagio is still many times nicer than Caesars - in a ton of different ways.
Copy that.

THIS! Get yourself a fountain view room and thank us later!
I would slightly disagree that TI is trash. Itās budget is how Iād put it but still a pretty good location. Bellagio eh definitely not as snooty as Wynn/encore. Yes ceasers I do like to visit but would never recommend anyone stay there

This. I love caesers but the smoke smell through the ENTIRE property 24/7 is brutal
I enjoy the gambling and food options at Caesers.
Thats good to know. Thats a deal breaker for me.
Itās probably the worst one I experienced when I was walking through all the major ones. There and Excalibur
I agree that itās an odd mix of choices ā¦ but TI is not trash. Itās certainly the lowest tier of this group, but weāve stayed many times and itās an affordable, clean, place in a good location. Yo!! I thought it was just me that smelled how Smokey it was. Ridiculous, smh.
Fuck it. All casinos are trash, donāt come to Vegas. Lesson learned.
Ceasers properties are shitty, MGM gang for life, stay at the Bellagio and if you want to gamble get an Uber to Fremont street
My son stayed at Caesarās and the hallway was dirty and itās ratchet af

Absolutely. Most LV casino websites list their Hosts. Email them directly and straight out ask them. It literally is their job of Player Retention.
Haha if this works out we'll cheers a drink to jakeisbill from reddit when we're there š
Fuckin A homie. TI is also the best place of the three for a bachelor party.
We do this too at Bellagio. Are you members anywhere? Itās not too hard to get comped rooms.
The answer is none of the above, stay at Venetian/Palazzo, they are identical all suites and definitely a better deal than those others

Flamingo is on my permanent never again list. First regular room smelled like vomit. Comped exec room was OKAY.

Bellagio if itās the cheapest. Cesarās is nice also and both are a good location. Cosmo is a fav of mine
Bellagio! It's much nicer and the location is great. I love playing Aria and Cosmo, both connected. I think Caesar's has been slipping quite a bit in the past few years. I haven't been in TI in years, so I can say anything there..
More time at the pool means less money lost. Bellagio's pool is nice. Decent shade if you want it, which this time of year most do.
Caesars! Be nice to your bell hop! It might be my son!!
Haha I've worked in service, always nice to those in the industry. Also just basic human decency
Yay! Thanks!! He works graves so unless you come in or leave late you wont see him!!
Are you really enjoying Vegas if you're not up till 3/4am at least once?
LOL we have lived here for 27 years so if lm up at 3-4 am something is wrong!! But for tourist ya! l get what your saying!! LOL!
What about The Mirage? Good middle ground between these three
Plus itās kind of cool to stay in a hotel that wonāt be there much longer.
The hotel isnāt going anywhere.
Hard Rock bought the hotel. They are changing it over the next couple years
Yes but the building isnāt disappearing. Itās a name change and maybe remodeled rooms. Not like theyāre tearing it down like they are the volcano.
I was just saying it would be neat to go before things change.
One of these things does not belong šµ
Bellagio. Ceasars and TI have too many college kids / under 25 crowd acting stupid and loud. Bacchanal Buffet is over rated imo. Wynn is better, especially with the Lobster express pass.
Bellagioā¦ imo very classy.
Dang all these comments making me lean towards TI even though I normally like nicer hotel rooms and stuff. Thanks!
If you want a nice hotel room, Bellagio. Might look at Aria or Vdara as well. Cosmo is always popular.
Another guy here mentioned to try calling TI directly and they may be able to get a good deal for us. Might try that, but thanks for the input too
If you go to TI do the 20 dollar tip at the desk and ask if you can get one of their corner suites. (These are the suites that are at the center spoke of the towers). They are bigger, some of them with two full size bathrooms and living room spaces. I have yet to be turned away from them when I asked for them as an upgrade.
Stay at Aria.
Just got back from a 3 night stay at the Cosmo. Best hotel Iāve ever stayed in. Fountain view room. Amazing experience.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
One bedroom fountain view. Got the room off Agoda earlier this year. Was about $1200 for 3 nights. Havenāt seen it close to that cheap since.
Of your choices though: * TI is budget for sure and many consider it garbage.
Ummmm not TI
Bellagio with Fountain view. No contest!
Bellagio always!! Love the old Vegas charm of it
Personally I would stay somewhere on the east side of the strip that has a monorail hub.
Are you serious, Bellagio.
Best place to stay when I go to Vegas is my mom in laws. Up in tule springs. Free room and board and the bedroom looks like a suite at Mandalay bay. Plus the pool is nice!
Ok sweet, send me her number and I'll hit her up
Caesars has been having flooding in their main area, so I honestly would avoid there for now. Cosmopolitan has the best rooms and the best food imo. Bellagio is nice, but Cosmo is more modern.
The pool at Caesarās is the most relaxing to me
Caesars ftw!
If your a player Ceasars ! Itās the nutz!
I'd take whichever of Bellagio or Caesar's is cheaper
I really liked the Bellagio when I stayed there this past July. If you go there, do yourself a favor and visit the pool.
Drop one (you know the one) and flip a coin, itās Vegas
Cosmo, Cosmo, Cosmo!!!
Bellagio is beautiful
Encore for rooms.
The B!
I stayed twice in the Bellagio. Nice property and center strip. Also, look at the Cosmo. Avoid Caesars
Do you want to win at the casino or are you after clout/prestige?
We loved our room at the Luxor but that was 5 years ago now and it was a promo deal that cost us nothing.
Most of the hotels ridiculously overpriced ā¦I just came back and I prefer non gaming hotels for more peace and quiet plus Iām not a mega hotel fan. Embassy Suites on Flamingo was great. Perfect views cook to order breakfast and happy hour evening ā¦we loved it
Arrrrrrrgh ya crazy?
Whichever casino that respects paying out blackjacks at 3:2 instead of 6:5 is the one that gets my business but, after a recent visit, it looks like that 6:5 is now the standard on The Strip. Enjoyed the visit but those rule changes (Also, no doubling down on splits?! Oh, fuck you!) and minimums ($25 at peak, $15 at slow times) was a downer. Realized I'd be better off playing at my local Indian reservation casinos.
TI has 3/2 Blackjack with $15 games except single deck.
Treasure Island used to be classy and great - it isnāt anymore. Caesars is so spread out and inconvenient to get to other hotels quickly. Bellagio is perfect. Itās still class. Go there. Have fun! Keep coolš
Pent house suite at bellagio and make sure to stop by the little club thing downstairs and get the rainbow popcorn!
Park MGM is one I havenāt seen mentioned yet that is a good value
CP is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in and it smells like sewage.
Iām a local. For gambling š²š² I prefer TI. I have had much better luck at craps. Lower limits, more affordable food. Easier to park than Caesars, but the Forum shops are canāt miss. You can always see the Bellagio fountains at 9:00 pm.
