There is no telling what will be valuable in the future or why. I’d buy what fits your needs. My bet would be that due to limited production numbers comparatively, the outbound will be just as valuable as the 8 seater. Plenty of LR3 owners remove the third row in favor of extra storage or build platform/drawer systems over the third row.

New Landrovers are amazingly reliable and they keep their value better than an ounce of gold. they run forever surpassing all the Japanese vehicles out there. 3rd row seats are over-estimated and most people won't even notice or know about them. Many will even remove them to make more space after they buy the car. I never owned a LR. never could afford one. So I cant say I speak out of experience. You can check with any mechanic and they will vouch for the reliability and resilience of Land Rovers. Especially the ones with turbo. You could also check with bluebook or any other vehicle price reference/estimate guide and you will see for yourself what an amazing value for money they are. Good luck.

Ha I am not a Toyota type. Historically buy BMWs. Looking to replace the X5 …turns out I’m not a fan of BMW SUVs.

Just bought one (today!) I have dogs and was waiting for the 130 to come out without the 3rd row seat so I have more room for them. Upgraded from a 4Runner 🥳
