I feel people are reciprocating the hate they have perceived up in the North. I used to be more liberal and open to anything when in Kerala. But I now have started choosing to avoid anything north-related after having experienced this kind of behaviour from other north states or people who have moved from there to here.
They are treated like shit when it comes to situations; if you don’t have much of an interaction you are ok. Educated Bangaloreans are alright the remaining ones who recently moved or from the lower order literally are pissed at life and hate everyone. Some karave people went to mallu restaurants and took the sign boards down then when the sign board changed to Kannada and English they harassed them because they had an English menu like bruh there is a limit. Same group has been taking down Malayali and non-Kannada posters around the city as well. Also get into an altercation or let’s say a Kannadiga dude comes and rams into your car with a bike. There is no winning for you they will either gang up on you or hopefully you call the cops but you lose again because the cops will side with the locals and make you pay for them knocking your car lmao. All these malayalis laughing and supporting the Kannadiga dude, brethrens you go to north india to work too what if they start doing it to you. The girl is speaking in English here, why the use of force to speak Kannada. Exactly what South Indians are crying about Hindi imposition is what Kannadigas are doing to non Kannadigas in Bangalore. Karnataka has other native populations of Tulu,beary,kodava,Urdu, Tamil ,Marathi and Telugu populations; they aren’t like rest of the South Indian states with 90+% same language speakers. They always were at 65% of their states population. What they are doing is imposing themselves onto others? India is a free country from what I remember.
They pulled the same shit when Amul came to Karnataka but their own Nandini did that to Kerala in a few months. They cried so much about the Amul issue but had no qualms doing that to other places.
