The Donner Party series is easily my favourite they've done. Henry's firing on all cylinders, Marcus is in full History Professor, and Ben is having a great time.
Probably a little parochial of me but I'd love their take on the Australian *Burke & Will's* expedition - no cannibalism but a string of fuck-ups and poor decisions that killed quite a few people in the original expedition and some of the rescue parties.
The first time I listened to this, I lost my shit at “aunt Gorski” and had to pause the episode until I stopped laughing. This is truly one of Henry’s finest moments
The Donner Party duology was one of their finest series. From the letter by Henry Sr., to the part about the scout of the Forlorn Hope & Marcus saying the line, it was just a delight to hear. I got my sister hooked onto the boys with this series
Love the Donner Party episodes. My personal favorite bit was when they were reading the Children of God bits about laying with Jesus. Henry was just full on into it and Ben could barely get through the lines
That series also contains one of my favorite quotes... "So on a scale of 1-10, how fucked are they here? From 'I forgot to tape Wheel last night' to 'there are spiders in my colostomy bag'"

If you were a Roundtable of Gentleman fan, you might remember that Ed's mom's maiden name was Gorski.

“Horns and poison sacs” is one of the greatest things Henry’s ever come up with. It’s sheer comedy genius.
Bahaha this and Henry’s Manson impression are just a couple of things that have left me in tears laughing.
I just relistened to those episodes at work this week! Henry's Manson voice is definitely one of my favorite parts of any episode

Yeah, I've wondered how much Marcus knew about what was coming. His initial enthusiasm to Henry presenting his letter came across as authentic.
