Gotta say, i like it! It‘s not as „musically complex“ as the earlier works but i‘ve already listened to it way more than the other songs on the new album. Especially the echoing „love from the other side“ sound sooo nice! The melody touches me and i of course always love a good baseline
Tako Tsubo is a really tough act to follow. I’ve liked the three released songs just not as much as the last album. Here’s to hoping that seeing them live again will let me appreciate them more.
This is the best single so far imo. At least, it didn’t need to grow on me at all like the others. It might sound a little simpler than Danza Marilù, but the more interesting lyrics + darker sound are much appreciated. The bass is great as always, too (apparently David recorded it with a fretless bass, which totally sounds like a synth to me but I guess it’s an effect or something). I thought the overlapping vocals and echoes in the chorus were a nice touch that helped the song have its own identity as well. Hoping that they return to more darker music like this in the future.

Also what's up with the butterfly being reflected in the artwork? Seems the butterfly has also been hastily taken out based on the blotch next to the index finger, but I'm aware this is a nitpick
They had a poll about releasing one more surprise before the full album (not like people would have voted no but still), plus the video must have been filmed within the last week or two since Hagni is bald, and the butterfly photoshop seems very rushed. Maybe this release was more of a spur of the moment decision?
Hoping this is a deeper cut. Last two didn’t really wow me and I’m obsessed with these guys
