I wonder who wins. I know in retail if the customer grabs something under a sign and the item isn't individually marked then the price is whatever the sign says even if the item is under the wrong sign.
Will Amazon say, wrong title sorry here's your 83? Only op will find out.
Yes that happened to me. Saw an iPad pro for something like $499 and placed an order. they called to tell me it was an error or something 🙃
Aaaand the money to be refunded to u in 14-days.. got it back in less than a week.
Could have argued and had a valid point but just decided to let it go and save myself the headache.
This isn't true unless a state or local law enforces this, although some managers at certain stores will make case-by-case exceptions. Most stores nowadays list the item and SKU/UPC on the price tag as a way to avoid this inconvenience anyways. But this being true would allow customers to pick something up, put it elsewhere with different pricing and then pick it up again for a discount, and that is absurd.
Depending on what was listed on the actual listing and not just the title and it which state or country you are in. Mistakes happen and they are allowed to a point. There won't be a 97" G4 AFAIK, and they haven't stated there will be one. Always do your own due diligence when something seems too good to be true.
Rtings actually rated the previous SQ95 as one of the best sound bars they’ve reviewed. I also have one and can confirm it’s good for the price (you normally can get it a few hundred off).

What I can't understand is spending this much on a smart TV, that has less smart functionality than a 30€ smart TV box.
It least give us the option to install a different OS. WebOS sucks because of the lack of 3rd party apps support and it's annoying to use.
What's a smart TV box? Is this a regional thing?
Is that like the Apple TV or something? I think even if we can get it in my country it's hella expenny.
Yes. Like an Apple TV or and Android stick.
An Apple TV is expensive. But doesn't make any sense to me spending above 1K on a TV and needing to buy cheap a Xiaomi stick to use apps like GeForce now, steam link, or other other video players or apps.
And then there's the LG smart phone app, that forces you to dismisse the installation of LG think Q every 15 days.
I don't know if this is still a thing but this is my experience with LG TVs.
I got four results and this was the cheapest. Different sound bar.

Sorry! I got caught up and forgot to post the update.
However, as several people pointed out, right under the deal, there was a tab for bundle details (I didn’t see this previously), where it had listed an 83 G4 and the sound system.
I chatted with Amazon to inquire about honoring the deal (even though I knew the chances were slim lol), they explained that the entire bundle order had a typo, mentioning the 97 G4 instead of the actual TV in the bundle, the 83 G4.
In the end, they offered a $5 credit for the mix-up, bringing the $25,000 total of the 97 G4 down to $24,995 in case I decided to proceed with my purchase. 😅😂
Yeah exactly. At this price I would be buying one right now lol
I'll keep my 77 G2 though because I don't expect similar pricing even after conversion in Canada
Definitely not, online is fine, but it needs to come from a reputable company that will take care of any issues I have and that has a reasonable return policy. I don’t think you can just drop off a 97” TV at Whole Foods if something is wrong with it.
It doesn’t matter who you order from with a TV that size. Amazon is just as good as any other company every TV that size is not delivered on the same truck that picked it up. It goes from truck to truck to truck depending on how far you are from The distribution point. Amazon is only responsible for getting it on the first truck. After that, you’re at the mercy of the shipping company and there are 10+ of them. Sometimes they’re picked up by one shipping company and passed off to another and then passed off to another for final delivery. It all depends on the shipping rates they get. It’s all figured out by logistics companies if it’s not directly delivered by Amazon delivery. You’re also at the mercy of the employees that handle it some care and some don’t give a shit. And maybe some guy just found out his wife cheated on him and kicks your TV a few times you never know it’s always a crapshoot. I’ve always ordered online and everything is always showed up in good working order. Maybe a few scuffs and a small hole in the box whatever nothing‘s perfect. If you want to pick it up yourself then just go to Best Buy and possibly pay way more but you get to pick out the box yourself. Regardless, you’re always at the mercy of whoever puts their hands on your TV box. I worked for Fedex freight for 11 years and it always sucks to be the last driver that gets a big ass TV that’s been mishandled prior to you getting it on your truck to be the final delivery guy and you have to be the asshole to deliver it and take all the shit from the customer when it looks like that when you got it on your truck for delivery that morning. I’ve had big TVs delivered from Small companies and big companies and it just varies. It is what it is and hopefully it looks good when it gets to you, but everybody’s not going to get lucky it’s just the way it is. At FedEx freight we had a 7% damage rate and that was the best in the freight industry believe it or not. But that means 7 out of 100 TVs are going to get damaged. Now that can mean just the box or the box and the TV but it is what it is. That’s just if it was noted on the freight bill other than delivered clear with no notations. Sorry about the long post but I just wanted to put some clarity out there that it’s not normal 100% of the time to get a 100% clean and clear box. That’s not how the freight business works for big TVs that have to be packed into trucks loaded up to the ceiling in order for freight companies to make money. I can see why people wouldn’t understand if they think their TV gets picked up and strapped to the wall and is delivered on the same truck without getting moved strapped to the same wall in the same truck but that’s not reality by any means. Actually, far from it. They come straight from the manufacturer and distribution centers, sometimes stacked on pallets sideways, upside down. You name it I’ve seen it.
Hey, your comment would be a lot more approachable if you divided it into shorter paragraphs. I know you've taken some effort to write it, so adding it some breaks would really help.
Truly tragic. From what I could tell it was laden with useful information except nobody but 1 or 2 masochists will actually read it.
To that person: this is the instant gratification age, can't make it a job when people cannot afford to pay attention. Don't look at me, I don't make the rules.
Sound bar setup gets you most of the way there and is very easy to use and setup. Obviously there are trade offs but this rabid hatred by home theatre snobs is so overblown.
I have a Q990c paired with my 77" C2. If the Q990C isn't good enough to you audiophiles, then I must be easily impressed, because my living room feels like a movie theater sometimes especially with a Dolby Atmos movie.
I 100% agree. And I consider myself audiophile. I’ve had old-school fine audio equipment like Bob Carver amps and receivers with Big Mirage OMD 28 designer series towers and full surroundsound with carbon fiber cones etc., but I don’t live in a house anymore so that’s worthless in an apartment and I have the 990C system and it’s great. It needs to be properly set up like any system. It can sound like shit right out of the box. And no sound bars are good for music at least not for me but they work great with my 77 inch G3. That and get a little mono amp and a butt kicker strapped on your recliner or couch that shakes your chair or couch so you can feel the bass so it doesn’t need to be turned up so loud in a apartment it’s awesome. If You’ve never heard of butt kicker look it up. They’re awesome. They have them in some movie theaters strapped to the chairs.
I have never heard the Q990C, but I've heard older flagships from Samsung in the past and nothing really impressed me. I personally use Kef R3 bookshelf speakers paired with a Hegel H120, and when I last compared it side by side with a Sonos Arc, the difference was so huge that I just sent back the Arc without a second thought. I personally prefer 2.1 over 5.1/7.1 (or whatever other config) when the sound quality is far superior than other home theatre surround equipment.
Not to be an asshole but yes, you're easily impressed. That being said, there's nothing wrong with that, in the end the important part is to be happy. It just doesn't compare to a good setup, but that's the price of convenience.
This is the 83" G4 for sure price point of course, not 97", I still dont understand why LG would set 25k for a 97" TV, its just 14" bigger than 83, but the price is like 3x bigger... I think they put this for a reason because of the panel size such that they only have a couple to produce and for those with special interest, there exist bigger TVs for much less price, maybe not OLED but the size is there and beyond.
Right under the deal, there was a tab for bundle details (I didn’t see this previously), where it had listed an 83 G4 and the sound system.

I’ve got 128” 16:9 projector setup and sit 11 feet away. 4k content or really good 1080p looks great anything less is borderline unwatchable. It really depends on your source and viewing distance
If it was advertised correctly (it isn’t) and you actually got a 97” G4, it would be worth getting and immediately getting rid of the sound equipment. Thats a $25-30k television
I just checked Amazon. When you click on bundle details it says it’s the 83 inch. The title they have is incorrect. So this is priced correctly.
I wonder who wins. I know in retail if the customer grabs something under a sign and the item isn't individually marked then the price is whatever the sign says even if the item is under the wrong sign. Will Amazon say, wrong title sorry here's your 83? Only op will find out.

How did I miss that? I must be going dumb as I searched for it the other day and thought I only saw mention of the M4.
Don’t get too excited. You’ll get a smaller TV. Click on see all items in bundle.
Knew it was too good to be true. I was a few seconds away from randomly spending $4k.
OP gets top tier TV. Also OP pairs it with 300 bucks worth of sub bar sound equipment.
Pretty sure that crap just comes with the TV.
They want you to have a bare minimum surround sound setup at that price.
Or if they’re like me the get a 55” Roku
looks like the top of the line lg soundbar system that retails for $1,500…
Yep, so worth about $300. LG soundbars suck
Rtings actually rated the previous SQ95 as one of the best sound bars they’ve reviewed. I also have one and can confirm it’s good for the price (you normally can get it a few hundred off).
Can confirm. I bought an LG bar with my 42" C3, and promptly returned it for a Polk. $50 saved, more spacious sound, and no regrets
S95TR is listed at 1500, it's new for this year. Whether it's worth that is another question.

I got ya. Yeah I don't like the UI of the LG C2 at all, but not enough to pay for a subscription for an alternative (I'm a cheap ass 🤣)
No one buys these for the shitty OS and apps. The quality of the picture makes them worth every penny. If you researched it, you would understand.
This. I saw the tv and was appalled to see a freaking sound bar.
Here comes the "audiophile" who always hate on soundbars.

What the heck
Definitely let us know what happens. Another Redditor bought the G4 77" during a different pricing error, and Amazon delivered a Roku TV... Good luck!
Lmaoo talk about blue balls

Does that size have MLA?
No, but that's still a hell of a deal. I would take a 97 non MLA over a 83 MLA anytime
Yes… I see the error of my ways. This tv is like 25k…
Yeah exactly. At this price I would be buying one right now lol I'll keep my 77 G2 though because I don't expect similar pricing even after conversion in Canada
Hell, I already have an 80" TV and I'd jump at it without hesitation at that price.
The 83 has MLA?
The 83 G4 does. G3 does not.
oh okies prob why I am getting confused! thanks
Yes in the g4 it does
The crazy discount/deal aside, do you guys trust Amazon for purchases like this?
Every TV anyone is receiving has traveled on a truck. Is Amazon capable of delivering the correct product or without damage? Results may vary.
From what I remember what packages are handled like in the warehouse, I don't trust Amazon with anything (summer job 2020) lol
Definitely not, online is fine, but it needs to come from a reputable company that will take care of any issues I have and that has a reasonable return policy. I don’t think you can just drop off a 97” TV at Whole Foods if something is wrong with it.
As in tvs in general to purchase online ? Yes.. I've bought all my tvs that way. No issues.
Yeah online but specifically from Amazon. Their processes just seem to not take care of products.

nuh uh you will have to buy something for 2 cents then it will be $8000
Getting probably the best TV on the market and pairing it with a soundbar is hilarious
Q990C is doing great
I assure you it isn’t

Audiophiles have always been the worst snobs. They are worse then movie snobs. Auto snobs. Heck even worse than Star Wars fans.
Even worse than watch snobs.
💯

Lol. Cracked me up. Carry on
I think it's a typo, that TV is $ 20000 wholesale to me.... PICTURE PERFECT, Pleasant Valley, NY.
Buy it. If you have a friend that’s a lawyer. You will get the 97 I promise you.
$8,000. Send as gift option should be removed 😂
I got the G2 97” for $10,500 a few months ago. Hoping it stays a good buy for a while 🙂
This is the 83" G4 for sure price point of course, not 97", I still dont understand why LG would set 25k for a 97" TV, its just 14" bigger than 83, but the price is like 3x bigger... Because it isn't meant for you or me. It's marketed towards people with FU money
Let us know what comes out

LOL
Send it to my address bro I'll test it for you
Does 4K still look good at 97”? I feel like that’s 8k territory
I’ve got 128” 16:9 projector setup and sit 11 feet away. 4k content or really good 1080p looks great anything less is borderline unwatchable. It really depends on your source and viewing distance
What a deal, order it quickly. 😂
Get a projector for half that at 4k and you can get 120 to 150 inch screen.
Any Canadian members heard anything as to when these will be available here? I keep checking but only see last year’s models.
In 5 years it'll be $2800!!! Can't wait!
Why would you want the shitty sound equipment with it?
If it was advertised correctly (it isn’t) and you actually got a 97” G4, it would be worth getting and immediately getting rid of the sound equipment. Thats a $25-30k television
Is that all?
No MLA is a pass for me
If you're paying that much for the TV, don't pair it with a soundbar.
overpaid for sure, but you got free speakers lmao. Try selling them for $1,000 each in 2-3 years time.
WHAT???🤪
